Enjoyed my initial breakfast visit, combining good pricing and quality food. Good setting inside the store, but protected with soundproofing. Liked my combo of French Toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage.

Waited over an hour for our breakfast that we had to order at a counter. What happened to full service here? One line cook working on a Sunday morning?

Amelia’s the best. Ever. Period. Now that that’s out of the way…
The food is great. The prices are moderate, but can actually be quite low if you take advantage of their excellent daily specials. The menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.
The service model could be a little clearer. They’ve got a pre-order, cafeteria-style model, but with full restaurant-style service around the bar.
Where this place truly shines is in the bar service, and the friendliness of the staff. It’s a generally warm environment for anyone looking to tie one on and chit chat for a bit.
Highly recommended!

Not a bad place to eat. The food is usually decent and it is usually not crowded. Only 4 stars because a lot of the time the soda machine is out of things and sometimes the service is really slow (not enough staff). It is a good place if you want a good salad bar with pretty decent soup and salad/fruit choices.

Food was ok. We went because they use to have waiters. The sign said seat yourself so we did, and waited no one said anything. Finally got up and asked they said we had to order from the kiosk. So we did, then took like 15 minutes just for apple juice, which was after I got someones attention and asked. It was over 30 minutes for our food. We won’t be doing it again, it was too much of a hassle with kids. I couldn’t even find a highchair.
The best part were the fries.

Waitress was awesome, food was awful. Wife found hair in her food. I had the wings, not sure chicken was cooked long and the breading was pretty thick and soggy in parts. I bit into one piece and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t even a wing. Just fatty tissue breaded and fried.

The people are very welcoming. Peter was very attentive to my family and kind hearted. I had a great time talking to my neighbor while enjoying happy hour. Great service and memorable experience.

Best happy hour in town! between 2 and 2.50 for craft beer from 4-6 along with 1/2 price appetizers…normally pretty quiet as well so that’s also a plus

I usually love Hy-Vee Market Grills, but they really messed up our Door Dash order and when I called, they blamed it on the Door Dash driver. They neglected to include our sides, and Hy-Vee said the driver must have forgotten to grab the second bag. Why wouldn’t the tator tots be in the container with the burger? Burger was overcooked, the cheese wasn’t melted, and there were no condiments or toppings for the burgers. I am not pleased with our meals, nor with the response I got from Hy-Vee.

Went in a few months ago and had a very bad experience with the manager (Chase Rodenbough) he was very rude to his own staff. He lost his temper and threw stuff around in the back deli area. It’s sad that hyvee has someone like this in a leadership position ….
