The food was absolutely excellent. I had the grilled chicken, potato salad, and baked beans. The chicken was amazing, tater salad was a little soupy, but tasted great. All in all best chicken around hands down. Very pleasant folks serving, but my order was to go.

We came here based on the reviews. Nice, friendly servers. The food was very basic diner food. The patty melt on “texas” toast was regular bread. The patty was small. We were offered to-go drinks and they had us bring our watered down mostly empty sodas over and poured them into styrofoam cups. One of them was mostly just ice. Then they were topped off. Wasteful…no.. but if that’s what we were getting I would have said no.

A hidden treasure. They could use a bigger sign, but once you find it, expect great people, great food, friendly service, and true Southern hospitality. From heaping piles of grits to homemade biscuits smothered in gravy, they have the food that cures what ails you. For dinner they even have prime rib and filet mignon! The customers are even nice as they chat with you over a glass of sweet tea and ask about your travels. If I make it back to Alabama, I’m hitting up Hwy 80 Cafe for sure.
