⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HIGHWAY 66 DINER – RETRO AMERICANA DONE RIGHT
Highway 66 Diner delivers a polished throwback experience with chrome finishes, neon touches, and walls lined in mid-century memorabilia. It strikes the right balance between themed décor and real diner functionality, avoiding the gimmicky feel that many retro spots fall into.
Portions are generous, plating is clean, and the kitchen stays consistent no matter the hour. Burgers, patty melts, chicken-fried steak, breakfast platters, and shakes form the backbone of the menu. Late-night breakfast is especially popular with guests coming from concerts or long gaming sessions.
One of the diner’s real strengths is pacing and atmosphere. It offers a quieter environment compared to the casino floor, making it ideal for families or guests wanting a break from the noise. Counter seating provides a classic view of the open kitchen line and adds to the nostalgic feel.
LATE-NIGHT BREAKFAST ALERT — BEST WINDOW OF THE DAY
After 9 p.m., the griddle team hits their stride. Pancakes, waffles, and breakfast skillets consistently come out hot, fresh, and well-executed. This is the sweet spot for both quality and atmosphere.
Tip: If you smell that fresh-griddle aroma, order pancakes immediately — that’s when they’re at peak quality.
Food pick: The hand-dipped chocolate shake with fries — old-school diner perfection.

I drove into town for a show and wanted to have dinner before. Upon entering, I was impressed with the atmosphere and cleanliness. My server, Elisia, was friendly and attentive; I ordered the beef tender tip Stroganoff. The salad was fresh and a decent size. When the entree came out, I thought there was no way I could make a dent in a portion that large. The sauce was flavorful, the beef tips were cooked perfectly and I ended up finishing everything but the breadstick.

I would definitely go back the next time I’m in town and have this again or try something different.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Sweet Slice of Nostalgia at HWY 66 Diner
We kicked off our weekend stay at the Hard Rock Hotel with a classic diner-style breakfast at HWY 66 Diner—and it was the perfect start. The retro vibe, friendly service, and hearty breakfast made us feel like we’d stepped back in time in the best way possible.
Later that day, after an exciting afternoon of gambling, we couldn’t resist returning when we saw their homemade milkshake list. And wow—what a decision! Sitting side-by-side at the vintage counter, we shared a romantic moment that felt straight out of a movie. We ordered the Peanut Butter Heath Bar shake, and it was hands-down one of the best we’ve ever had. Rich, creamy, and blended right in front of us, it was the perfect mix of indulgence and nostalgia.
More than satisfied, my husband and I were so glad we chose to share that experience. HWY 66 Diner isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to make memories. Highly recommend stopping in whether you’re craving breakfast, dessert, or just a little retro magic.

We didn’t think much of this little diner at first. It has great decorations, memorabilia, and furniture to make it seem as a legitimate 1950’s diner. We were impressed once we were seated. There were so many good food options to choose from. The portion sizes are reasonable to the prices listed. It all tasted amazing. I can’t wait to come back and try the other selections they offer.

Good food and the vintage diner experience makes this a great place to eat. Our group ate here Saturday night and from what we all ordered, they are very generous with their portions. I wasn’t very hungry so I ordered the sundae which reminded me of a banana split but without the banana and it tasted great.

Adorable styled diner located inside The Hard Rock Casino with friendly and attentive servers.
Lost cost menu options for every meal of the day.
They serve a medley of different fries, which I found interesting.

I had a horrible experience! My food came out different than what i ordered. After sitting and watching the other person in my party eat and finish their meal, i had not received my order still. The male manager on duty refused to correct the situation and was very rude. The server tried to pay for our food in front of him and he did nothing. We paid and left. Terrible experience. Hire a new manager who does his job.

Cute diner inside of the Hard Rock in Tulsa. It is decorated like a quintessential movie diner from the 50’s. Black and white tile and license plates on the ceiling. They took the theme of Route 66 into the restaurant. The fried fish was good but the fries were cold. But the fry medley was a nice touch. The Cesar salad with grilled shrimp was good, if a little too much dressing. Service was ok, they were a little busy and so it was not overly attentive.

… the Brutus Burger Challenge may have been a little out of my league but the rest of the fine food they had on offer was amazing, we really had a great time, good food, great service and loved the atmosphere…

Great place, food, atmosphere, price and service. The Motley fries are the BEST. Nice menu variety. We’ve been there many times, always a positive experience.
