MY husband and I enjoyed the Americana burger. I really liked the crispy onion rings. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. My daughter liked the grilled chicken and French fries. She was disappointed that it wasn’t served in a car as advertised, but the waitress explained that they were out of them.
The workers were very friendly and helpful.
They do need a little more work on making the milkshakes. It took a while to bring them out. One milkshake was way too thick you couldn’t drink it from a straw (even after sitting in the hot car while we went in the Farmers Market) the other milkshake we ordered was very runny and melty. Both were tasty, though. They just need to work on the consistency.
We can’t wait to come back and try some other items on the menu.

Stopped by for the first time this week. They have not been open long so everything is still new and clean. I did not know Hwy 55 was a sit down restaurant, but when you walk in they offer you a table and bring you a menu. I really wanted a milk shake and also tried some fries. The burger meals are like $12-$13, I plan to go back and try some of the other food. The fries were hot and the milk shake was good

Went to Hwy 55 on Cloverdale Dr. In Florence today.
I must say that the food was much better than the one in Muscle Shoals was.
The food, service, and atmosphere were all very good. The server was friendly and checked with us a couple of times to make sure all was well.
The quantity and quality of the food were very good. We didn’t have room for dessert, so we will be making a return visit for shakes and custard.
Looking forward to Hwy 55 burgers being around for a while .

Cloverdale Rd location – American Burger was hot and juicy. Fries were good and hot. Has excellent sweet tea. We’ve had the steak and cheese here before and that is very good too! A whole lotta meat. Service is quick. Kimberly is nice and always has a smile. She’s quick to tell about any specials going on. Definitely recommend dining here.

My husband and I went to the one on Cloverdale road yesterday and ordered in the drive thru. First I will say the young lady that took our order was super friendly and pleasant but that was about the only good out of this entire experience. My husband’s burger was very small (smaller than a cheeseburger from across the street) and over cooked as well as the onion rings tasted like they were in old oil and cold. My order was a shrimp burger and I know I am ordering fast food but the shrimp was not deveined and it was very obvious and my french fries were cold and hard. Even the drinks were filled to the top with ice so not much drink. We were extremely disappointed and we both are not picky . For the cost we were extremely disappointed.

Update: Its now out of business as expected after the first week of operation.

Don’t compare this place to the others you might see online. It does not have the 50s theme that helps draw in customers. There is nothing at all on the walls for that matter. The food is nothing to brag about, and very expensive. I got a burger combo and upsized it, it was 16$. More expensive than any other burger in Florence, and had no flavor. You never see anyone eating here, never. Drive by this place daily multiple times and hardly ever see a vehicle in the parking lot other than the workers. That explains why it pretty much shut down after 3 months in business.

We were the only ones there and were in the drive through. We had not tried this new location and decided to give it a shot. We ordered 2 burgers, a Philly, 1 strawberry milkshake, and 1 root beer float. We waited a while at the windows and was told sorry for the wait they were cooking fresh fries and onion rings.

Went straight home the root beer float had no root beer, the burgers all were weirdly chewy, could not eat, as well as the bread and was not fresh. Last hope was those fresh onion rings and fries — nope like rubber and cold. Will not be back. I guess all the bad hype was true. So, ling story to say there went $34 down the drain.
