The service was amazing. Our waitress checked on us frequently and always had a smile. She also had to work the front register but never left us unattended for longer than 5-10 minutes without checking on us. I ordered the hotdogs meal. They grilled the hot dogs to perfection. My friends ordered the burgers and they looked delicious. I finished with a concrete. I have always loved their custard.

This place is absolutely perfect. Food is fantastic and some of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. The custard is also very, very good. I come down there for my MUSC appointments and its the same great service and great tasting food. Food comes out quick! Everyone is greeted with smiles! 10/10 recommend

We went last week. It’s been updated, but there isnt much to say about the renovations. Our booth had a dead fly on the bench and one on the table. The food was fast, but it was also cold. The Reuben came with the Thousand Island Dressing on the side ( I’m not sure why) and the waitress didn’t bring a knife to spread it with. The sandwich was refrigerator temp cold. If you aren’t going to make something correctly, just remove it from the menu. The staff was kind and offer me another meal, but I never send food back. They did remove the cost from the bill, which was the right thing to do. My husband had a burger and fry’s but said it was the okay.

We stopped by this location this afternoon, because their Google and Yelp reviews were pretty good. Besides the fact that they have parking because they are in a small shopping plaza. I can’t say anything good and if I could give them a 0 rating I would.
This location was very dirty and definitely not maintained. The staff was not attentive, because we ordered takeout and I watched my food seating on the counter…before I asked if it was mine. Everything we ordered was just horrible. Chicken fingers were over cooked and extremely dry. The French fries were old like they were seating around, rather than cooked hot and fresh. The fruit punch drink was watered down, and tasted like no sugar kool-aid.
Honestly, we have never tasted such horrible food or experience such horrible customer service. The restaurant manager clearly doesn’t care about this facility, because if he/she did they would fire their staff and start all over.
We will never return for another visit, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Enjoyed it very much. We usually stop a couple times a year when we visit family in the area. Always a great experience and we leave full! I love the gravy Fries but never had a bad meal there.

It wasn’t hwy 55 anymore. But the phone number was the same. The staff didn’t tell us they were under new owner. We ordered from the hwy 55 menu. We were surprised when our food was missing the bread and slaw and we were told the plate didn’t come with it. We weren’t as happy with the new restaurant.

Honestly, pretty disappointed. Ordered the BBQ burger, the waitress was nice and even repeated my order back and made sure I wanted everything it came with on it. It came out, and no onion ring on it. When I told the waitress she said, “The pimento burger doesn’t come with an onion ring.” We stared at eachother and then she said, “Oh, you didn’t order a pimento burger, did you?”. She went to get me an onion ring and came back with a basket of them. I appreciate the gesture, but I didn’t need that many. When I started to eat my fries they tasted weird. It was then I realized the ketchup I put on them was sour. I don’t know how ketchup goes sour, but it was! At this point I was looking for anything to save my experience so I got a little concrete that was supposed to come with hot fudge and Oreo pieces. It came with cold syrup and cookie dough, and the concrete itself was melted. I took two bites and left the rest. As I said, pretty disappointing.

Love the atmosphere and the staff is an excellent bunch! We eat there whenever we get an option to get out for a spell. I also love that I can walk into a restaurant and that me and everyone is not wearing a mask and not social distancing. Finally able to exercise our constitutional rights and back to normal again! Will be back again soon!
