The welcoming you get walking in the door is awesome. The restaurant could use a freshening up; looks like it needs deep cleaning, but carries that ‘old roadside diner’ feel.
The menu is simple, could use a few more items; veggies or breakfast items.
Overall peaceful and enjoyed the meal. Service was perfect, fast!

Tonight was our first time there. Super busy as expected (National Hamburger Day) but the staff were all fantastic. I love the constant please and thank you between the waitresses and the cooks. Everyone seemed friendly despite the rush and provided great service. We will be back.

Got food from here for the first time today although I knew the restaurant existed and that the owner was genuinely a good community icon for a few years. When it comes to food I’m a man of habit. I very seldom try new food. Decided to throw my money their way today and the food was delicious. 10/10. To top it off, the order was out to me in lightning speed.
Will be getting more of my money FOR SURE. Glad I made the choice to step out of the norm.

What can I say! This place was amazing! The owners were very nice and had a great sense of humor. He definitely he very funny. The food, was the best burger ever! The bread was slightly toasted, exactly enough lettuce pickles, tomatoes and mustard on it. Everything was fresh and I felt like I had a piece of heaven. The tables were clean, you could smell a hint of bleach but not over barring. I felt at home, it was hard to leave. The ice-cream tasted homemade. Me and my family were very impressed. Thank you for giving us the best food and service we have had in a long time. Also it’s really cool you feed kids for free. We drove from blair sc to eat and it was worth it 100%

Order two Philly cheese steaks today around 3:30pm . Tipped the waitress 10.00 dollars for taking my to go order . I glanced at my order before I left . Get ready to eat later on that night and the sandwiches are made with what looks like nacho cheese . I’m sick of places taking my money and not being held accountable for the screw-ups. It’s just going to keep happening so why do I want to keep going back and giving them my money . If you’d like to have your order messed up by a teenager that will say my bad . Then please come here. They will accommodate you .

Food: 5 stars due to the unique selection and great quality. I ordered the Carolina burger and you know, you don’t realize you need chili and coleslaw on a burger until you try it! My wife got the Johnny Boy & Billy fried chicken sandwich and thought it was very good. Our 5yo got the kids burger and chowed down on the whole thing.
Service: Samantha was our server and she was courteous and was the best at refilling cups that I’ve had in a long time. She welcomed us “newtowners” by detailing specials they have throughout the week such as: kids night/half price Carolina burger Tuesdays, and that they have Ollie the Otter mascot that comes in sometimes. The chefs were expeditious and appreciated the shout-out as we left.
Atmosphere: You would find this kind of burger spot in that show Riverdale or from Back to the Future. Good vibes, clean and happy people. Only small issue was where we sat a vent was blowing at max efficiency, making us cold and chilled our kid’s burger.
Will be eating here again!

Cozy interior with a line of small booth seating down one wall, opposite the open grill / food prep area. Some counter seating as well. The air conditioning vents in the ceiling point straight down onto the booths and can get very cold. We had to move from the middle booth because it was so uncomfortable.
Great selection of burgers, sandwiches & fried shrimp. Fried pickles (pickle chips, not spears) are very tasty. Not overly breaded & nice dill flavor. Onion rings were good, nice portions. Cheese steak sub filling was very good, sandwich a little dry since no condiments on the bun. BLT on sourdough bread with 5 slices of crispy bacon was a winner. Great chocolate shakes & concrete mixers with choice of stir-in toppings.
Second visit tried the “build your own burger”. The “Lil’ Burger” option is a great portion size, hamburgers were well-seasoned and tasted great.

I feel really bad for these servers there I just witness their boss or owner whoever he was yelling at all of his servers in the back and sending two of them home. I don’t care what it was about, but the fact that I can hear you yelling at them is uncalled for an unacceptable. I would like to know who that is because I will be making a phone call or something to have him move to a different store because the fact that two of your servers looked very upset that you said something to them along the lines of clock out and don’t come back is very unacceptable. When there are people in the store that can hear that the food is good and everything but when it comes to customer service, that’s very unacceptable.
