So I don’t like to leave bad reviews but it really bothered me that the shrimp was not properly cleaned and deshelled on the poboy we got. I completely understand mistakes happen but it was like every other piece of shrimp, my fiance didn’t even make it through a 1/4 of the sandwich. It was a takeout order so I know quality can be a bit reduced, but even still, you don’t want people getting shellfish poisoning. There were other parts of the meal that was questionable but that was the main issue

Food is usually good, I would give 5 stars on that alone. However I can’t due to this little blonde girl you guys have working. Babies and toddlers throw tantrums. It happens. I took my toddler outside to not disturb everyone. Other tables empathized telling me it’s okay, it happens to all parents, it’ll get better. But this little girl yall have working made it a point to try to catch my attention multiple times and give me dirty looks and smirks bc of it. So sorry my toddler threw a tantrum. He’s a toddler, they do that. He also has epilepsy which has caused some behavioral changes and regression. This poor boy has been through so much. It’s not his fault. This is why it’s best to keep your looks to yourself!

The waiter was nice that’s about the only thing I can really say good. We have ate here many times and the last 2 times it really hasn’t been that good. I ordered a bacon jam burger. I couldn’t taste the jam. I couldn’t taste ANY seasoning on the burger the only thing I tasted was the chili and it was a little over powering in my opinion. I had 1 just one slice of bacon that was cut in half. The portion size for the fries was SUPER small. Kind of like getting size small French fry at McDonald’s.. I give it a 2 out of 10.. my husband ordered the chicken cheesesteak and they didn’t put enough meat on it. Same thing with the size of the fries. Small not filling. Both of our meals was almost $15 and if I’m gonna pay $15 for a meal it should fill me up. The sweet tea wasnt hitting at all. But it was drinkable. My kids ordered kids meals and it was average. They got the same about of fries we got as well. At the end I ended up paying $50. We won’t return we gave it our last shot and it was a no. Sorry you lost our business. We paid without asking for any type compensation the waiter looked tired and I didn’t want to bother her with our complaints. It definitely wasn’t worth $50 Chili’s would of been cheaper and better.

Great food and friendly folks that actually hold the door open and greet you as you enter. Cool old school burger joint/diner/drive-in vibe. I would definitely stop there again. Slightly hidden but not too far off the highway.

I had the grilled pimento cheese with bacon, tater tots, and a hot dog: the order was timely, accurate and extremely tasty. The server was attentive and courteous. My wife had the chopped steak with peppers and onions: it well prepared and good. The cook is to be commended. The nostalgia of the dine-in experience is fantastic.

Food was really great, the chicken bacon ranch sandwich really hit the spot! The paper cars are a pretty cool nostalgic touch & I was glad it was only $1 to buy one for us kids at heart! Staff was friendly even when busy from the dinner rush.

Burgers were delicious and we tried the onion rings for the first time, also spectacular! Our server was very friendly and helpful and we saw the other server go way out of her way to open the door for some folks that needed assistance. 5 stars for.food AND service!

I went with friends and we where all in agreement that the food could have been better. Our tenders where over cooked and had way too much spices on them. We where told that’s how they receive them pre made. The hamburger also had a good amount of spices on them. Can’t recommend this place unfortunately.

On vacation. Enjoyed this meal today. I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures of everyone else’s food. Their meals looked delicious. I can tell you, plain burgers were delicious, real meat! I don’t eat carbs, that’s why my plate is so plain. It was satisfying. I feel bad I forgot the server’s name. Darian or Darius. He was so friendly and professional. I would definitely visit again..

We called in an order and were told that it would be 20 minutes from the time we placed the order. An hour later, we finally had our food.
We got our food back to our house and the Moose Cheese steak my wife ordered was pathetic. There was hardly anything on it. It was essentially bread with cheese. The chicken tenders were burnt to a crisp. If we didn’t live so far away, I’d have taken it back.
I guess it’s partially my fault for not checking the items before we left.
This is the second time this has happened. We won’t be back.
