I was in the area and just had to stop! I grew up with Andy’s (before the name change) in the Elizabeth City mall and miss the Hwy 55 location that used to be near my home in Charlotte.
Service was great and my hot dog and unsweetened tea were nice. The tater tots were a little over done. I ate in and food came quick. Reasonable price as well.
Would be nice to have guest WiFi available. I had some work to do while I had my lunch 😉

It was better as Andy’s. Food prices have gone up while the quality of food has gone way down. Definitely will not be going back. My husband ordered the cheesecake with jalapeños peppers and onion. No peppers or onion and barley any jalapeños or the extra cheese. I also ordered extra cheese and barley had any. It’s used to run out everywhere. Doesn’t even taste good anymore. Fries were cold. The service was alright. The young lady that sat us and helped at first was very nice and polite. Our actual waitress dropped off our food and came back with the check that was the only time we had contact with her.

First time ever at this chain restaurant and the food was super good! What I liked is that I ordered a shrimp po boy & onions rings and it came out exactly like the pics on the menu. Portions are great for the price and cooked perfect. Not only that my server Layla was fantastic in menu selections as I was there with a coworker who was happy also. Thank you for a great meal and Layla as our server. Definitely will be back when we work here next.

This id my new favorite location. Super friendly staff and best burger I had in a while. Still pricy but so is everything nowadays. Every time I go see my brother in Mt Olive I got to stop by HWY55!

Visited 8/30/2023 through drive through. Service was nice, sandwiches and kids chicken tenders were good but all 3 orders of fries were old, cold and a quarter filled. Do better!

Definitely not worth the hype or price. Supposed to be a Carolina burger with chili and slaw. Where’s the chili? Probably won’t be going back to Hwy 55.
Update… just are the worst burger ever. Meat was rubbery. No flavor except the overpowering pepper. Just not a good experience.

love HWY after a long day, but dang does it look like someone squished my cheesesteak, punched it, then threw it into the bag… it’s a shame because now i’m eating more paper then steak. still Gas tho just wish it wasn’t so smashed.

Been here twice during my travels. First time they had a robot delivering food. Great novelty but unnecessary, but will not take away from their rating. Second time early Aug 2025. Both times the food was excellent. Loved the shrimp platter. Lots of shrimp, well worth it. The staff was friendly but I can’t say the same for one oatron who yelled a one of the staff. She happend to be our waiter and held her composure although you can tell she was ready to cry. I gave her words of encouragement and she was awesome. It was worth my stop, for both food and human interaction. Stay stong.

I was looking forward to a good hot fresh meal. But was sadly disappointed I ordered through the drive through they were not real busy maybe 4 cars so I ordered the andys cheese steak meal. Well my sandwich was piping hot , then I had to get my drink in two 16oz cups because they were out of the 24oz cups and then I drive off down the road not even 5 minutes away to reach in my bag only to find barely lukewarm fries. You could tell they were pre cooked because they were wrinkled and somewhat floppy.

Update: visited today. The day after xmas. I understand employees call out but to wait on people that came in after us is unacceptable. This has happened a few times now waiting 15 minutes for menus.
HOT!!!!! Wow, where is the AC?
The sun beats down heating up the place. The afternoon sun is in your eyes. Tint on windows is poor!
Whomever designed this place was focused on looks and not customer comfort.

Everyone was serious about their job. No goofing off.
I’m impressed!
Lettuce on burger was wilted, brown, slimey.
Normally the fries at this new establishment are undercooked and limp.
I said to make sure not limp.
Now crispy but not burnt. Perfect salt. Used to be to heavy.
My son said portion size on cheese steak is half size. He said he won’t be back to Mt olive one..
A waitress picked item off of floor. She immediately washed hands.
Flies. Need those silver things at the door.

So far so good.
