Fast food but cooked to your liking. My kids liked the tater tots & fries. We all ordered burgers and the kids had kids meals that were served in these cute cardboard 50s style cars.

Hwy 55 Burgers is just like a fast food restaurant , with slow customer service . The burger tastes funny. Just look at the food presentation. 1 slice tomatoes they not even cut the end of it, staff playing with each others, you can heard them from our table.

Today was a miss.
Same sandwich different days, today was half chicken day.
This locations weird, I find to enjoy the experience a lot more when the tall light skin guy is taking orders.
Also if you’re ordering anything and want to change what comes on it they are probably going to mess it up, the good news is that they’ll let you keep the messed up food… bad news is it has a gallon of pimento cheese on it.
Anyway, the picture is the moose with fries, it was great, and so was the service from the dude. And id you getta sandwich and not a burger it goes in this styrofoam thing which keeps it from getting all weird and squishy like the burgers do cause they’re wrapped in foil.

Hwy 55 is just that! A burger, cheesesteak, and shake joint! The outside look is amazing and very retro. The inside gives a diner feel. You choose your own seating, and they immediately bring you a menu. The menu is pretty simple, and one page, front and back; exactly what you expect from a burger and shake place. I can’t say the food was the best I’ve ever had, or someplace I would go often, but the service was amazing, and it definitely made the experience what you would want everywhere you go. Not to mention, set the bar high for other similar restraunts when it comes to service. Although it was a smaller sit-down place, it was extremely clean and very kid friendly. The service was pretty fast, so things move quickly, but if you don’t have time to sit and relax, they do offer takeout. The prices are very reasonable (each meal includes fries or tots and a drink), so if you’re a family of one or even ten, you won’t break the bank! I would definitely recommend at least trying it once. If for nothing else; for the experience!

First time stopping at Hwy 55 and I was impressed with everything. Staff, price, speed of service and quality of the food was awesome. If you don’t want to eat fast food, which this exit has a ton of I highly recommend driving a few extra feet and give this place a try because you won’t be disappointed

Not sure about different dietary menus, or vegetarian menus. I just really like this resturant. They play music that will bring back memories of days gone with the wind. 60’s and 70’s were the best to me. Love the way they are set up like the old days. This restaurant gets an 10+ from me and my family. Thank you for the memories and making me feel great while we are eating our meal. What a great place.

Out of blue cheese. Cobb salad was tiny for 10 bucks. Chicken rubbery. I am sticking with Romas chef salad. Their salads are twice the size. Delicious and tasty meat for $12.95. edited because I said no crispy onions and got them anyway

we were welcomed upon entering the restaurant and seated immediately. the restaurant was very clean!! We ordered and the food came out very quickly and the portions were plenty, we felt we got what we paid for. The cheeseburger and chicken cheesesteak were good!! Isaiah our server did an excellent job with making sure we had everything we needed and that our drinks remained full!! overall an excellent dining experience and will definitely stop through when traveling that way again. Highly recommend!!
