This place is really gross. Cleanliness is not a priority here. The people are really kind but half of them don’t wear gloves are literally touching EVERYTHING without gloves: meats, pickles, cheese, onions. I was sitting there watching and got so grossed out I decided not to eat. The bathrooms are pretty gross too. Good wasn’t that great.

I usual don’t leave reviews, but this is about a young man named Aaron. He works at the highway 55 in Nashville NC. I’m a regular, sometimes a few times a week. But this man stood out, because it was really busy. He was waiting on 3 people’s orders at the same time, running the register, and keeping the cooks and waitresses on their toes. He was very polite, but made sure each person know about the timeline on their orders. He walked them out, held the door (which they all do), and was very calm and polite. All the staff at this store are amazing, but he seemed like more of a boss or manager. Very interesting to watch how he held all that together, but he did. As with all Hwy 55’s, decor is fun. Food bore little resemblance to how it looked in the menu’s pictures, but tasted OK. Hot dog was a very unnatural shade of red. Hate to think of all the red dye #2 it contained.
Well staffed. Restaurant was full but we were greeted and got a table right away. Our waitress was precious. She checked back often and seemed to really care about whether we were happy.

This HWY 55 was good. The food was great. The service was really good. The atmosphere was good. I would recommend this place for lunch and dinner.

Had lunch with my grandma the waitress was not very friendly she got our order wrong and blamed it on us. She asked my grandma if she had dementia and if she new Jesus which I felt was very inappropriate to do especially with other customers in the restaurant

This is not the old Andy’s. Unable to sit inside because of “staffing” even though there were over 4 staffers in there. Ok, fine, I ordered to go. The chicken sub looked like dog food. I believe the chicken was from a can. Fries were like reheated Wendy’s fries. Also,tried to order dessert but there was none and no ice cream.

Very pleased with the new management. The level of accountability they are putting behind their service, the food, and employees are greatly appreciated. The manager wants to make sure you had a great visit, that you are happy with your food, and he’s pretty funny too! The staff are opening the doors for you, greeting you when you walk in with a smile, and making sure you have everything you need with absolute urgency. It was a much needed change in this particular location for many years, and am very glad to be enjoying a great burger and fries from Hwy 55 again!

We heard all the hype about the Nashville store’s new owner & the massive clean up, so we decided to give it a try. I had to fight flies the entire time; they were even lighting on my ankles! Additionally, the floors were filthy. It appeared they had not been cleaned for quite sometime; the ring of gunk on the floor by the gumball machine was disgusting & I’m not sure when the counter was last scrubbed down.
We love hwy 55 & eat at the Tarboro store frequently, but I’m not sure I’ll visit this one again any time soon.

My wife and I went to the highway 55 in Nashville NC for the first time since the new owners took over. The new GM has done an incredible job getting the team to work together to provide amazing food with an incredible attitude. We both got burgers, and they were by far the best burgers around. Lemonade and orangeade made fresh upon order, perfectly fried fries, and the juiciest burger ever. Staff was the most friendly and welcoming I’ve ever experienced. Glad to say we will definitely have many more trips back.
