I don’t ever see a lot of people there but I live nearby and wanted to try it. We Went thru the drive thru and got a pimento burger meal with a shake And tots, gravy fries, and a hot dog… the hot dog was BAD! And I mean like so rubbery and gross my kids couldn’t chew it and I threw it away. I would honestly say they are a chocking hazard to anyone aside from an adult as I took a bite and I could hardly chew it. My fries were completely cold, soft and chewy.
I overheard the girl at the window say how unappetizing the gravy smelled. I’d say I agree!!!!! When I opened it it almost smelt sour as if it had turned a long time ago! I’m really praying they don’t give this to anyone else today because I honestly believe they’d get very ill! It smelled rotten. And had a thick pasty consistency with big clumps in it.
Burger was ok. Very bland. I got mine with lettuce tomato and mayo. Still just NO flavor.
My shake and tater tots were good which is why I added a star from when I first started writing. But I wouldn’t ever return. I can get decent shakes from many places around Huntington. So to go back solely for that would be crazy.
$18 and almost all of our food was thrown away and we are still hungry.

Do not eat here. Waited 15 minutes past the pickup time to get my food even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Workers looked inexperienced and overwhelmed. I ordered a large concrete and was give about a scoop of ice cream in this little bowl. Will not be back. BTW ignore all the 5 star reviews as they are not legitimate. The restaurant offers a discount for fake reviews.
Edit: I made the original review before tasting the icecream. 2 bites and threw it away. It tasted horrible like it was freezer burned. Explains why the girl had such a tough time scooping the icecream out of the plastic tub.

This was a spur of the moment random pick for lunch. I just moved to the Charleston area from out of state and this place I will definitely visit again. Absolutely wonderful food. Burgers are fantastic. We had lunch inside, the service was excellent and the restaurant was not busy while we were there. I forgot to take pictures of my food. I was too hungry. Pics next time!

Absolutely the best service. The food was great. The place is small, but everyone greeted us as we come through the door. We loved the look and feel of the place and my kids loved having their own little cute car to eat their food from. The family really enjoyed the cuteness of everything, coupled with great food.

These folks are the kindest, most accommodating people in the industry! The food is good, but the service is amazing! They are patient, understanding and and helpful! Don’t miss out, stop by as soon as you can. I’ve come back for a second visit and I’m glad I did!!!

We’ve stopped by this location twice & both times were great! I highly recommend the burgers and the pickle chips. The last time we went through, the staff wrote a cute message on our to-go bag. I highly recommend trying Hwy 55!

Excellent food and service! Highly recommend the fried chicken strips! The seasoning is delicious and not very much breading. Just right! Our server the last visit was Chrissa, very pleasant young lady. We also talked with Erin as we were leaving, also a very pleasant young lady and She is providing the crew with a great educational work environment. I have eaten in the restaurant several times and have placed “to go” orders while dining an a couple occasions, the timing of the “to go” orders was perfectly timed with my dining both times.

My wife and I tried this place about a month ago. At the time, we both agreed that our food was extremely good and our waitress was nice as well. However, the manager was publicly berating employees and bringing the mood in the place down considerably. It was enough that we actually called to complain.
What a difference a few weeks made!!! We went back and again experienced incredible food (I had a shrimp sandwich that may be my new favorite sandwich from anywhere I’ve ever been). However, we also saw the same manager was there. He must have really taken to heart the criticism from
the previous time. He was still very much animated, but doing so by making customers and staff laugh and smile. He was all over the place, and his staff really seemed to bust their tails for him.
We come through the area every month or two and this was already going to become a stop for us simply because of the food. But the staff and manager turned good food into an even better dining experience. Good job to all of you!!

The restaurant looked like a cyclone went through. The counter wasn’t clean lots of tables dirty. The servers not a tentative to customers unless they were regulars. They got their order before we got ours taken and they came in 19 min after we did. The onion rings and fries well overcooked. The burger way smaller than the bun. All the employees just talking behind counter . The couple behind us had to go to another table to get napkins because their table had none.
