Hurtado BBQ was a great spot to eat after visiting family at the nearby hospital. Much needed comfort food. The green pork tamales were disarmingly delicious! The pork belly was great and the brisket was as well. The turkey was another star player. Big red taco wasn’t what I thought it would be but is definitely worth a try. Its brisket that’s been braised in big red. The soda. Yes, that big red.
All in, it was a great and enjoyable meal and we’ll definitely be trying the mansfield location next. DEFINITELY WORTH IT

I really like the brisket break fast tacos! The brisket was succulent and flavorful. The eggs were fluffy. Tortillas were warm and fresh. A great combination if you ask me. The place had a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I most definitely will be back.

Absolutely amazing! Best barbecue I’ve had in ages, with great service. I had the Texas Trinity with a side of Bacon Braised Cabbage. The brisket was perfectly smoked, moist and tender. The ribs were expertly seasoned and falling off the bone. The sausage was delicious. But strangely enough, the Bacon Braised Cabbage stole the show. I wasn’t sure I was going to order it, but decided to try something different, and I am so glad that I did. I’ve never had anything like it before and don’t know how to even describe it other than heavenly. Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance of the restaurant, go in. You’ll be glad you did!

This place is fantastic and Demi deserves a raise! We are from out of town and wanted a Texas barbecue experience and boy did we get it! We got the El Jefe platter for three people and it was more than enough food. Demi was super helpful and made great suggestions, including adding a Texas Twinky to split between the three of us. We sat on the patio in January with the heaters on and were very comfortable. This is an order at the counter and the food is brought to your table type of establishment that offers both breakfast and lunch/dinner.

As a new customer at Hurtado BBQ the atmosphere as you walk in the door the Smokey aroma welcomes you right as well as a kind greeting, the prices of the food is worth it completely. If you’re looking for the Texas welcome as a new comer but aren’t as a fan of the loud atmosphere this is the place to go. They don’t have a secret menu but I’ll whisper this secret (ask for the brisket elote) you’ll love it. They have a slight alcohol choice but it’s all fine and dandy

My friends and I went to Hurtado tonight to celebrate my birthday and we had such a great time. It was our first time to visit and the staff was so kind. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, pork belly burnt ends and the big papa potato.
Everything was delicious! I try pork belly at every BBQ place I go and these were the best. The flavor was so rich and they were cooked just right.
Also it was so kind of them to surprise me with birthday goodies and take photos of our group. The banana pudding is excellent!
I am definitely coming back with my husband in the future. Next time I want to try the birria taco and the sausage.

The food was incredible and delicious. I got the 3 meat (Pulled pork, burnt ends, and brisket). The service was immaculate, shout out to Demi for being so knowledgeable, friendly, and going above and beyond. I will be back here, next time I am in Dallas.

We visited on a Friday night around 7pm. There were a few people in line, but we didn’t wait long. We ordered the El jefe platter with brisket beans and hatch chili Mac and cheese, and a banana pudding tres leches.
Our food did not take long at all and gosh, it was good! The brisket was moist and flavorful. The pulled pork was absolutely delicious. The ribs were tender and well seasoned. I REALLY loved the brisket beans. So good!
The banana pudding was unique and delicious.
Definitely one of the best BBQ places around!
Seating inside is limited, but patio area was also available with about 10 tables. The volume in the indoor dining room was loud with laughter and voices.
