Reviews
**Note** Keep in mind the lower reviews from 1+ years ago were related to Cafe 360–not Hurry for Curry, which took over the existing/google listing.
I got the veg johl momo; it was filling without being heavy, with an awesome savory broth and tender, flavorful dumplings. My partner got the egg biryani and said it was one of the best he’s ever had, with a great blend of seasonings and mix-ins, light and fluffy rice, and boiled eggs cooked to perfection.
Like most places in this vein, you can choose your spice level. Mine was not spicy at all (by my choice) and my partner was delighted that his dish was truly spicy when he asked for it.
Hurry for Curry is a gem. The food is outstanding—rich, flavorful, and clearly made from authentic family recipes. Every dish tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared, with the kind of depth you only get from home-style Indian cooking.
Sarah, the owner, is incredibly warm, gregarious, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell she cares deeply about both the food and the people she serves, and that hospitality comes through the moment you walk in.
A quick note for anyone reading older reviews: some reference a completely unrelated club that used to be nearby and has long since shut down. That has nothing to do with this restaurant or the experience here today.
If you’re looking for consistently excellent Indian food served by wonderful people, this place is a must. We’re lucky to have Hurry for Curry in Louisville.
P.S. Most of these negative reviews seem to be leftovers from when this location was home to Cafe 360 (which did, in fact, suck).
Hurry for Curry has only been open since winter of 2025, so any reviews older than that are inaccurate and irrelevant.
