Tried the saag paneer, chole, pork belly vindaloo, salad, and brussel sprouts.

The saag was superb – tasted like fresh spinach and spices, the chole was fine, the vindaloo was interesting, but I will concede that the sauce tasted suspiciously like ketchup.

The salad was fantastic, and the brussel sprouts had an amazing char.

I spoke with the person who I believe is the owner – from Chennai, Southern India – super nice. I’ve been to India 6 times, inclduing Chennai. Prices reasonable.

This place is on the permanent list along with another Indian restaurant with a name related to the movies. Love it!

I don’t often leave reviews but this deserves one. Really well developed menu. Small saag paneer and mango lassi and spicy mango chutney hit the spot. Also had good wine from the beer bus and good service and vibes all around from the food cart pod. Looking forward to trying tikka masala and other dishes before winter.

Super yummy new addition to the Pine Street food hall! I’ve tried the Brisket Tikka Masala and the IndoChinese Soy Curls. The indochinese sauce is my favorite so far!

We tried the chicken tikka masala and pork vindaloo bowls and roti. We really enjoyed the food. Delicious. I used the roti to soak up the sauce and could eat that all day long. Will definitely hurry back.

The man who served me was friendly, so I feel bad writing a negative review, but my chicken tikka masala was really bad. I actually didn’t finish it and it was a small portion. It tasted mostly just salty and had very little chicken. It also had some crunchy round things (maybe deep fried chickpeas?) that weren’t in the description and those had a slightly burned flavor, like they were fried too long. My lemonade was good, though! I see lots favorable reviews, so maybe I was there on an off night.

Affordable and delicious Indian food. The pork vindaloo had a great spice level, hot but not too spicy!

This was one of the best food carts and indian style cuisine I have ever had. We tried a variety of items including the brussel sprouts, brisket masala, chicken masala wrap, and roti. It was all delicious and get 2 adults easily! Food was so flavorful and delicious, I can’t wait to go back. The customer service was great too.

This cart is phenomenal. Unbelievable really. I had the soy curl tikka masala in the deluxe bowl which included a stellar spinach dahl, perfect yellow rice, kale with some kind of magic dressing, and various pickled vegetables. The flavors were very similar to the Sudra but even more complex somehow. I wish I could eat here every day. Tons of vegan options.

We got the brussel sprouts, fries, and dhal curry. All were excellent with great flavor. Their chutneys are really good too! Everything we’ve tried so far has been good and will order again. Highly recommend!
