Unfortunately, the bartender on Saturday made a poor decision to throw a full beer can at a customer. Said customer had already closed out and civilly sat outside with friends while waiting for her Uber. Unbeknown to anyone, sitting out front waiting for a safe ride home is not “ok” with the Hurricane’s bartenders/bouncer. If it was, then my friend wouldn’t have been assaulted and would have left in an Uber and ended her night on a good note.

A bartender, Sophie, threw a FULL can of beer at my friend’s head while my friend was waiting for an Uber outside of the bar before the bar was even closed. The can hit my friend in the head and split it open?! She now has a gash on her face. It was obvious Sophie was drunk on the job. How do you just go around chucking full beer cans at customers and then get in their face and call them derogatory names and still have a job?! Seriously I hope the police get involved. That is straight up assault.

Had a surprise birthday party here for a dear friend. Great place to hang out with friends. Reminds me of Cheers. Neighborhood bar and good food. Tim and the waitress were attentive and nice. Definitely going back.
