The food is straightforward. The wings were standard, fried plain with sauce on the side, and the chicken wrap was fine but not memorable. It is typical bar food that does the job without offering anything special.
The drinks and service are where Eddie’s stands out. Beers are cold, prices are easy on the wallet, and both bartenders and servers kept things moving with friendly and attentive service.
If you are coming for excellent food you will probably find it average. If your goal is to hang out with friends, enjoy cheap drinks, and count on good service in a relaxed spot, Hurricane Eddie’s delivers.
While they do s/erve liquor… the lunch was very good… Marietta was our waitress… and was great… we would stop again when in the area…
Hurricane Eddie’s is exactly what a good dive bar should be — laid back, full of character, and always welcoming. It’s got that local charm that’s hard to find these days. The bartender is fantastic — super friendly and on top of everything. You’ll always feel like a regular here, even if it’s your first time.
It’s open-air, which gives it a great beachy feel, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable. The food is way better than you’d expect from a little dive bar — definitely worth ordering. Plus, there are pool tables, darts, and just an all-around good vibe, especially if you’re looking for something casual and unpretentious.
If I had one suggestion — they could use some better lighting in the parking lot. It’s easy to miss, and some people might not realize they’re open. A little live music now and then would take it up a notch too.
Still, this place is a solid spot to hang with friends, grab a drink, and feel like you’re part of the local scene. Don’t pass it by —
