This place is amazing! The staff is super nice (shout out to Stephanie for being awesome), the atmosphere is very pleasing, and the food… just wow. I’m attaching a pic of The Perfect Storm, my breakfast plate. I had no idea how big it was going to be. My hand is pictured for scale. I can’t recommend this place enough!

This place was every bit of delicious…
from the perfect breakfast (for me;) the perfect small town vibe and atmosphere, right down to Ashley, who greeted me and took care of my order.. and if you like a simple breakfast $8.50 you just can’t go wrong…. and from the looks of what other customers were having.. I’d say this is a solid candidate if you are looking for a place to grab a bite

First time visit for myself and really enjoyed it, the breakfast was extremely good and I overdosed on the coffee which I sound out they grind the beans daily for fresh coffee. The food options were very good. And I love the fact that they fresh cut the potatoes for the “American Fries” .. just yummy and staff was very friendly and attentive.
Will definitely go back again

The family and I staycationed in Lexington this weekend, and hung out to watch their Memorial Day Parade. Afterwards we headed straight to the Huron Street Cafe, as I wanted to give them a try before we left. I’m very glad that we did.
Even with the weekend event we were seated right away. Our hostess did give immediate notice that there was a 30 min wait for orders from the kitchen, but that was fine with us since we weren’t in any rush. The menu was simple with classic diner breakfast options, and the restaurant itself had a great charm. I was actually surprised at how comfortable their “wicker” chairs were, and everything was bright and clean. The staff was great too! Even with there being a rush, they handled everything with grace, humor and kindness. For sure a team working together to keep things running smoothly.
When placing my order I quickly brought up my food allergies/intolerances, as I have quite a few. I was aware that they could not 100% guarantee no cross contamination, as one severe sensitivity of mine is wheat, but after choosing my safest option (The Huron Street Special), they promised to be as safe a possible. I’m happy to say that I left without having any food reactions, neither then, nor delayed onset. So big thank you to them for that!
The food was served in large portions and was absolutely delicious. The pancakes are huge and fluffy, and I rather enjoyed the home fries. I would say they are fair and moderately priced. I will definitely be returning in our next visit to town.

A quaint little diner. Charming decor, very clean, and polite, attentive staff. Was a slow morning, so service was very personable.
We ordered the Perfect Storm, a hash/scramble, and the Huron Street combo, a basic 2 egg breakfast.
Food was presented nicely on cute plates, it was fun to have different plates other than the white or beige. An above average breakfast, the potatoes were seasoned nicely which is better than most. Anything we didn’t like was more us being picky that most probably wouldn’t notice.
If we’re ever in the area we’d stop for lunch or dinner.

I thought it was okay. The breakfast plate I ordered sounded great on the menu but it was basically a plate of potatoes. At $13 it was a bit pricy for that. The sausage that I found (very little in the dish) was good quality. The presentation was nice The omelet looked very good and I’m told it was. 3 isn’t a bad rating just means it’s okay and wasn’t anything special.

Nothing remarkable about this restaurant. I’m curious why the hollandaise sauce looks like it came from a tube? Not creamy at all and it’s served cold. The sausage gravy was terrible, it looked like it was days old. It certainly wasn’t made fresh that morning. We will stick to our usual place, Cams Cafe in Croswell which has the best breakfast and the staff is much friendlier.
