I had my 50th birthday at Huqqa Social, and everything was very well organized and perfect. The hall is beautiful, the seating is very comfortable, and I had a beautiful karaoke screen. They also have a great dance floor. The food was yummy, especially the soup and Manchurian . All my guests especially loved the soup and sliders as appetizers. The chai was also very tasty.

Special shout-out to Sadiya Musaddiq, who organized my 50th birthday so beautifully. She managed everything—from the food and desserts to planning the dance floor, karaoke, and DJ setup. She coordinated all the timings and even came early to check on the setup. Her attention to detail made the entire event smooth and stress-free.

Javaid bhai was very professional and helped out a lot as well. Their manager Fozan also checked on me couple of times and helped set up the Karaoke.

I will highly recommend having a party at Huqqa Social.

UPDATE : Decided to try their food this time and I was not super impressed. Mango mojito for $10 came in a plastic cup. So disappointing! Charging so much yet no presentation. Seemed like you were getting it from a taco truck. Taste was pretty bland and no sweetness at all. Left most of it. For food, ordered the beef Kafta kabab which had such a strong flavor of goat meat (no where mentioned on the menu) that we left that. Even the rice had that strong taste. The only good thing was the Baloch chicken. Super flavorful and full of spice. Hard to eat though with it being not cut. Spent over a $100 between 2 people and did not find it worth it at all.

Came here for the first time and had a great experience. We came after lunch so just got a house special hero cold tip hookah and doodh patti chai. Hookah was amazing! Super smooth and fruity flavors. Loved the ice tip coolness. Chai was also really good. I was however a bit disappointed to see that it took quite a while to get the hookah and chai out. We went on a late afternoon so the place wasnt busy so not sure how long it would take if its peak busy. Tauseef provided amazing and very friendly service. Their indoor and outdoor seating both is spacious and beautifully decorated.
We will definitely be back to try their food.

We tried a few things: mint tea, plain cheese pizza, and the mixed grill (chicken kabab, mini shrimp, beef kabab, and beef Kafka). Here are my thoughts:
-tea was fresh and hot. Very tasty!
-pizza? Gross. Something about it was just bad. Don’t waste your money on this.
-mixed grill: just OK. Rice was amazing and tasty, fries had no salt or seasoning, chicken was the star. The rest of the meat was gross. Beef was not good what so ever, shrimp was super over cooked and hard to chew, and the beef Kafka was alright, but definitely not our cup of tea.

Hookah we have nothing to say as we didn’t smoke it.

Ambiance was gorgeous! I will say though, they can definitely clean up the outside because the table we sat at was falling apart.

Service was good. The gentleman that helped us was friendly and helpful.

Prices: reasonable.

Desserts: no comment. We didn’t try it since we were turned off by the food itself.

Overall, I probably wouldn’t come back here, but it was fun to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful evening.

Chicken tacos – 8/10 – Filling was really good but wasnt a fan of the shell

Mixed shawarma platter – 7.5/10 – Chicken and beef were a bit dry but tasty when paired with the sauces/hummus

Spicy hummus – 9.5/10 – This was really spicy ️ , i loved the flavor and creaminess

Huqqa mixed grill – 9/10 – Meat was tender and cooked well, loved the flavor

Chicken manchurian w/ fried rice – 8/10 – Saucy and flavorful, rice also had flavor

Balochi chicken – 9/10 – Had a good masala flavor, was juicy , and grilled well ; paratha got hard after a bit tho

Pina colada – 9/10 – Refreshing and sweet

Cookies & cream milkshake – 9/10 – Most oreo-flavored milkshake ive had, just wish it was colder with l some chunks of oreo in it maybe

I find it rare for hookah spots to also have tasty food but this spot had flavorful dishes and good quality food in my opinion. My personal favorites were the balochi chicken and spicy hummus, both had a real kick ️ The food was overall fresh and they have a lot of options on their menu as well. If youre looking for a spot with a nice ambiance and good food, check them out

Best hookah I’ve had so far! My personal favorite was the hero! I visited this place a few times, i was disappointed because the flavor blends were not consistent. Visited this place 3 times in 3 days while i was in Houston and the first time was the only time the hookah was good. The other 2 times it was acceptable but not the best. I requested them to fix the hookahs the 2 other times Butt some of the male employees were ignoring us and had an attitude. Luckily the manager walked up and was very accommodating

My friend and I were visiting from out of town and someone had recommended to try this place. They has great customer service, hookah and food. The fruit chaat could use a little more variety than just the apples but overall a very clean palce and a cute patio outside. It wasn’t too busy when we went but I’m sure it depends on the hour of the day.

Waitress wasn’t attentive as much

Couldn’t give me a replacement on food after it wasn’t good.

Had asked for a manager and he didn’t even come and informed the waitress to tell them I’d have to pay full price for something I had a bite out of it

Offered 50% off for any other plate ordered but declined since the first food I ordered literally tasted like dog food.

Treat your customers better

I usually don’t write negative reviews, and to be fair, the food here was decent — no complaints about that part. However, I had a really unpleasant experience with the service and billing process.
1. Our drinks arrived quite a while after the food was served, which I didn’t mind too much.
2. We had also ordered a cheese pizza along with the rest of our food, but by the time we had finished eating everything else, it still hadn’t come out. When I asked the waitress about it, she brought it out and explained that someone had simply forgotten to serve it. I wasn’t happy, but I wasn’t upset either — mistakes happen.
3. The real issue came when it was time to check out. The waitress brought the payment machine and told me the total was $80. I handed over my card without thinking much about it, but after the payment went through, the screen showed the “original amount” as $63, and then asked for a tip.
I asked her why the total charged was $80 instead of $63, and whether the tip had already been included. She told me it was probably sales tax, which didn’t make sense — 8.25% sales tax on $63 would not add up to $80. She also said the tip wasn’t included and that she’d show me the itemized bill after I selected a tip amount. I went ahead and added a 15% tip on top of the $80 total.
When she brought the detailed breakdown afterward, I discovered that:
Two additional items had been mistakenly charged to our bill.
An 18% gratuity had already been included in the total.
This means I effectively tipped twice, and I was only shown the breakdown after paying — despite asking for it beforehand.
They had removed the wrongly charged items, but did not remove the tip I added before knowing that it was already included.
It’s a confusing and disappointing experience, especially because the waitress herself seemed like a nice person. I’m not sure if this was intentional or just poor training, but it definitely left a bad impression

Recently went out to the new hot spot in Sugarland, @huqqasocial. First off, this place has a cool ambiance, indoor seating and outdoor, multiple tv’s, overall a great vibe. Next for the huqqa (hookah), which was good, we ordered multiple flavors and enjoyed them all. and now, for the main part the food, we ordered multiple items like the sliders, grilled fish, mixed grill, and wings. overall, the food was delicious, the Sliders were flavorful, the mix grill items were perfectly cooked tender and juicy, the grilled fish was perfectly seasoned. overall the food really makes this place stand out.

Five Stars!
This was our first time here and we were truly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious — the grilled meats were perfectly seasoned and juicy, the rice was flavorful, and the fresh salads were a great touch. We also tried the mango juice, and it was perfect — not too sweet, just the way we like it! On top of that, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
