My husband and I have eaten here for years about once or twice per month after church service. It is at the top of our list for Sunday lunch. We ate here just yesterday and I told my husband that I am perplexed as to the 3.5 star overall average on reviews on Google. Our experience over several years of dining here is that the food is very good, fresh and always consistent. There is no better fried shrimp anywhere. I try to get a small sampling of most everything on the buffet. Every dish is hot, fresh and delicious. The serving staff is always very friendly and very attentive to us when we eat there. We feel like this restaurant rolls out the red carpet for us every time we appear. My husband and I would sorely miss this Sunday dining experience should it ever go away. With this five star review, we are showing praise where praise is due – and trying to balance out the unfair negative reviews left by others.

This place is delicious and food is always hot. Idk why there are so many weird reviews. I get food to go here all the time and it’s great. Pictured is sesame chicken and chicken with hot garlic sauce.

Waitress almost always just tells you where to sit. Brings your drinks. You never see her again. I’ve always had to get up to go ask for drink refills. Today I walked to where drinks are. Lady wasn’t my waitress but I asked for a to go cup for my hot tea. The lady looked at my cup, then me. Pretty dirty look. She acted like I was trying to get something free. She filled my cup halfway. She never said one word, even after I said thank you…just the dirty look. I made 1 trip to buffet..I dont eat much because of surgery. I always tip 20% but today, no. I paid my $36.00 bill but gave her a 1.00 tip. The waitress immediately questioned me…”1.00?” I said yes, 1.00. She questioned again. I repeated yes 1.00. I should have told her why. I’ve never had such poor service as I’ve always had there.
I’ve been a customer service person all my life. They have no idea what good service is. They have lost this customer permanently.
I will drive into Tulsa from now on.

Take out is over priced and small. Next time I’ll drive to Sand Springs.

My husband and I have recently found this hidden gem and now we go what feels like every other week! The staff is so friendly, fast with drink orders, the buffet is always adequately stocked and fresh. Food is delicious and price is good. So yummy!

Food was okay but definitely not worth the $40 for two lunches and a child. Especially since the only thing on their buffet that my child was interested in was the chicken nuggets, which were so old he took 1 bite and refused to eat any more.

Really good food and the staff is super nice. Me and my good friend always get the best customer service and we have gone for so long that they already know what our orders usually are. I love their Salt & Pepper chicken and butterfly shrimp. Not really sure on what the other reviews are saying but in my experience its definitely a good place to eat if you like Chinese food! Definitely try it if you haven’t already

It was really good. We went around 2pm and it was $7.25 a person for buffet. Pretty decor and clean restrooms. The staff members were friendly and great with kids. The Kung Pow Chicken was delicious. Everything was tasty.

Always very good. Buffet or order from menu. Their egg foo young is my favorite, so order it from the menu. Its sauce is a perfect companion with the meal. Had been craving some for months and finally used takeout today. Yum!

Buffet is excellent. Like others, buffet will be available as soon as pandemic eases.

Back when they delivered, my mother and I decided to order a few things off their menu. The delivery guy that showed up gave us the food, and the food came to about $25 something. We only had two twenties so we gave him both. He didn’t even bother to give us our change back, because while I waited, he started walking away, and took a $15 tip with him. He was rude and didn’t even deserve a fifteen dollar tip. I called the restaurant afterwards, because I was juggling all my food in my hands I couldn’t run after the little thief, and they asked the delivery guy about it. He claimed that he had no clue what I was talking about, that I gave him $25 exactly. Which angered me, because I saw him look at the two twenty dollar bills. The woman I spoke with of course took his side. What ever happened to the customer is always right? The waiters and waitresses are always rude, I’ve even tried to laugh, joke, and make conversation with them, and they act as though they couldn’t care less if I choked on their food and died – BUT that would be bad for their little money making business. They make it quite obvious that all they care about is money. My ex fiance and I went to this place for our first ever date over a year ago. The food on the buffet line was so old, crusty and dried out, I’m fairly sure that bread rolls aren’t supposed to resemble chewing on a balloon. Their scallops were on the heater for so long it became hard for me to chew them, and scallops are my favorite. When they’re FRESH. They obviously do not change out the food depending on the time it’s been out so I’m pretty fearful of eating here again, because I don’t want to get food poisoning from the old food they serve us. My ex fiance and I decided to try and give the place another shot, and the food this time was actually decent because we got there upon opening so we could get fresh food, and the waiter that was attending to us NOT ONLY stood over us practically and watched us like hawks, but made us feel like we were in a prison yard and he wanted to make sure we ate all our food. He stood there for up to five minutes, walked away, and then came back to our table after. Not once asking if we needed a refill on our obviously empty glasses, not taking our empty plates when we went back for seconds, and dessert, Just stood there and watched us like we were some kind of freak show. The fact that he didn’t even bother to take ANY plates from our table when we started running out of room to put our new plates was disgraceful. I’ve never had such bad service from any Chinese joint. From now on, I’ll be attending the restaurants located in Tulsa, OK because at least there, their food is fresh, the staff is nice, and we have elbow room because the staff knows how to do their job. Thanks for the service, Huo Yung. You’ve lost a customer.
