This restaurant is truly special — not only because of its delicious dishes, but also because of the stunning views and unforgettable sunsets. We ended up dining here two nights in a row because we loved it so much! The oysters were absolutely outstanding — Rockefeller, chargrilled, and jalapeño Parmesan — each one better than the last. The red snapper fillet was equally exquisite.
The ambiance is wonderful, with live background music from the bar downstairs that adds the perfect touch to the evening. We paired everything with a delightful house white wine, which completed the experience beautifully.
The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming — they truly make you feel at home. Highly recommended, 100%!

Stopped in with a big group today and it was phenomenal! Everyone loved their meals. The cheese grits and garlic mashed potatoes were among the best I’ve ever had. We had the cheese platter and mango habenero shrimp as appetizers and they were SO good. The shrimp and scallops were raved about. An excellent meal. We will definitely be back!!

We recently visited Hunt’s while staying in Port Saint Joe. We had our 2 miniature golden doodles with us and Hunt’s has a covered outside deck overlooking the water that allows dogs. We had the shrimp and chicken tenders and they were great. They have the best hush puppies I have ever had. They service was friendly and the food was awesome. Would highly recommend.

We ordered a dozen raw oysters (great), a whole snapper blackened ( superb) And blackened shrimp ( absolutely amazing). The green beans are flavored as well as I’ve ever had them. Sea Salt cheesecake for dessert. ❤️ We cannot tell you enough good things about our experience. Leslie was our server and she’s just the cherry on top of a wonderful experience!! ❤️ Highly recommend—we WILL BE BACK!!!

Hunt’s is a hopping restaurant in Port St. Joe. The are is known for oysters and scallops, so of course our table had to give those a try. Both were flavorful and fresh. Our party also tried the flounder, crab cakes and chicken tenders. It is a seafood restaurant, so the chicken tenders weren’t the star of the show and were standard. The crab cakes were really “wet” and fell apart very easily, but the flavor was ok. The price for eating crab means the dangers of shells, and there were quite a few shell fragments within the crab cakes.
The service is absolutely stellar. Combine great service with a stunning sunset view really makes stopping at this restaurant a special treat. Be prepared to wait as this is a popular spot for locals and tourists!

If you’ve never had fried alligator, this is the place to go. It’s not little chunks. It’s nice slabs perfectly tender and cooked to Golden goodness, their seafood gumbo is always consistent and the staff is outstanding

Amazing views of St. Joe Bay. Fantastic food. Wonderful service. The she crab soup and scallops appetizer were amazing! The best scallops I’ve ever had. The place gets very busy and they do not take reservations and sometimes won’t take to go orders because the kitchen gets so busy. It is located right next to a couple pontoon rental places so it’s convenient for a meal after a day in the bay. We will definitely wear here again when we return next year.

We went for lunch, no wait time open setting, we chose outside! It’s was very nice weather in September, nice breeze and calm water. We ordered the steamed shrimp for our app. Then we decided on Mahi Mahi Po’boy with coleslaw, and Blackened Shrimp Tacos with fries and hushpuppies! Everything was outstanding! We did also get the salted caramel and Peanut Butter explosion for dessert. (we got them togo). I highly recommend this place! Also Tammy was our server she was great and had great recommendations!
