Had my grand daughters first birthday party yesterday here!! They all were so nice and helpful from the first day when we called with questions!! Side room is so big with a door to close for more privacy from the bar!! Pizzas were outstanding!! Everyone was sooo nice!! Thank you sooo much!! Im glad I found you guys!!

We stopped on a Legion Rider run. I had the pizza burger. It was a little bland but otherwise it was good. The service was good. I would definitely recommend this establishment!

I had read reviews on this pizza place, and they seemed pretty good. I was out on a hunting trip and the name seemed very fitting. I called ahead to order a pizza for pickup. The lady on the phone said it’d be ready in 30 minutes. I ended up taking a phone call so I was there about 45 minutes later. I walk in, there was no clear signage on where to go. So I just walk up to the bar and say I’m picking up a pizza. The lady, without asking the name etc. Says it’s not ready, and offers me a drink. I was in a rush but I sat down. Now i ordered a medium thin crust sausage pizza. That shouldn’t take 45 min or more. About 5-10 minutes later she finally asks the name on the order. She then promptly gets a pizza. She says “here you go dog”… then she asks if I want it warmed up. I’m thinking, why in the heck would i need it warmed up if it just got finished. I grab my pizza and go. I believe the drink that she offered me was comped. I’m not really sure, they never offered me a receipt. There wasn’t much parking either. Not the fault of the bar, it was just a pretty small town. The pizza was cold, and average. In my opinion the service was odd and unprofessional.

Hunters is your quintessential small town bar. It’s the place everybody goes to grab a burger and a drink or a pizza with the family.
It’s also the center point for many community activities. The starting point for most people for events like June dairy days or the Labor Day Street dance.
There’s nothing extraordinary about hunters, but if you want consistent good food at a reasonable price or a large pizza to share with the family while enjoying a few beers, this is the best place in West Salem to do it.

I ordered delivery from Hunters. While I was stuck at the truckstop waiting to deliver over the Memorial Day weekend. They have some really good pizza here. I ordered their 14″ thin crust pizza. I’m surprised this is Bar Pizza and not just a pizza place. Perfect crust, cheese, and sauce. More than I could eat that night.
The delivery driver called when he got here, and all went well.

Went in for a pizza, and the first pizza was made incorrectly (which is okay, it happens). They offered to make the pizza again, and apologized for the mistake. The second pizza was a bit short on pepperoni (I had ordered double, and it seemed like a single portion), but that said, it was still very good!
Other than that, atmosphere was good, service was quick and friendly, and overall, I’d go back if I ever get over to the La Crosse area again

Why/how did I know about you sooner? This place in West Salem blew my socks off. Pizza is amazing (and cheap). Bartenders are fast and great at their job. Was super busy and never had to wait for a drink. Fun atmosphere coming back soon!
