Love Sue! She was so nice and personable. I met 3 servers/bar tenders there in total and each one was great. The bourbon glazed meatloaf, the blue steel sour beer, the French fries, the chicken quesadilla…yes I ate them all. Please treat yourself and try each item I mentioned. You won’t regret it.

Hunter’s Bend Bar & Bites seems to be much more of a bar than restaurant. They are only open for breakfast and dinner. Of course I went for lunch to sadly discover they are not open for lunch. I find it quite odd that a bar and restaurant would be closed during lunch at peak tourist season. So my visit was educational at least to learn what they offer. For a place with the name of Hunter’s Bend I thought it would be far more impressive but it was a rather plain looking place that appeared to be added as an afterthought. Overall it was far smaller than I thought it would be.
