5 stars isn’t enough to describe this restaurant! Everything from the moment you step into Hunters Cafe and you leave is a delightful experience. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I ordered the grilled chicken with steamed broccoli and a baked potato ( loaded at No extra charge). The chicken was delicious, moist and tender. The side portions were very generous.
The cashier was fast, efficient and the sweetness young lady. I highly recommend Hunters Bakery and Cafe.

Our server was great, she was very attentive to my kids needs. she checked on us often and made sure our drinks were full. Very cool environment! I think our servers name was Katie, she had an eye patch and was awesome! French onion soup was awesome. Stop by here if you visit!

The service was nice and friendly , just two waite staff working very hard. The food was disapointing my burger was dry and over cooked and the onion rings where cold and cardboard. I would stop in again if I was in the area and give them another chance.

really bad service. worst burger, didn’t even have lettuce or tomato, was just an overcooked patty on a very dry bun. my chicken tenders tasted frozen and the sweet potato fries that i paid extra for weren’t hot. we paid nearly $45, including the tip. would not come again and would not recomend, they need a new cook . and better trained servers.

We had a very nice lunch. The food was good, the atmosphere was excellent. My only complaint was our server took our order, we didn’t see her again, another server delivered it and refilled our coffee, and helped us to pay.

After shopping in town my husband and I stopped here for lunch based on multiple shop owners and a few other town shoppers suggestion. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Walking in felt inviting and comfortable, the food smelled good. It took a bit to get seated because the staff waiting tables were also seating. I ordered the patty melt with sweet potato fries and both were pretty good. My husband got French onion soup and a BLT. The soup was good, but not like traditional French onion soup I’ve had in other restaurants. The BLT was very average on really hard bread, I’d not get this if I came here again. I did not try a cookie but saw them in the counter. They were humongous! Town folk say the cookies are good. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. If I were in Sweetwater I’d eat here again but I’d try something different for good measure. This restaurant left me feeling satisfied.

We stopped in for lunch after antiquing and definitely enjoyed our meal.

It’s a cozy low key atmosphere. The food is nice and simple with a homecooked vibe. My grilled chicken had a tasty smoky flavor and was cooked perfectly. The bakery deserts are gourmet !

This is a great place to go as you enjoy downtown Sweetwater.

I love this restaurant. To each his own I say to those that haven’t had a good experience. It happens. The atmosphere is cozy. The food is really good. The fried pickles are awesome and as for the the onions rings, get ready to write home! The deserts are all really good. The Neiman Marcus and the peanut butter cookie are my favorite. There’s nothing I don’t like though. I’ve been here numerous times with friends and family, and it’s always a lovely experience.

Hello. Well my wife and I went to this place on a Saturday afternoon. They close at four so it was around two thirty, three. There was only one couple there who left soon after we arrived. The staff was very friendly and helpful. After we ordered I had a look around.

The motif fits the name, hunting. The pictures and display items are geared to the more genteel type of hunting. It’s a nice atmosphere and there is little traffic noise. My major hang up was the restrooms, (see photos).

There are two of them side by side. They are both unisex. As you can see in the pictures they were in a horrible condition. I don’t know how busy they were through the day, forgot to ask. However being busy is no excuse for letting them get so bad. They were cleaned and restocked before we left. Also the restrooms are up two steps. If one forgets about the steps when coming out, well… The food was good, no complaints there. Although I gave three stars I recommend the place. I know we will be back.

Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next time, bye!
