WOW!!!! Amazing place! Hunter the owner was so nice and professional and the food here was out of this world! If I could give 10 stars I would. Every course we had was delicious and flavorful! The staff were all professional and on point. Other restaurants could take notes on how to service a table because the attention we received here was beyond amazing. What an awesome story of how this restaurant came to life! Cheers to all your successes. Will be back soon and hope you have that Mango Flan on the menu 🙂

BEAUTIFUL upscale restaurant with great food and service. I highly recommend it for brunch or dinner. Really delicious omlette at brunch. Yum! This place flies under the radar because of its location at the intersection of 25A and Oyster Bay Rd in East Norwich south corner. Check it out. You’ll be glad you did.

They give amazing bread when you sit down.
We ordered the French Pizza, it was crunchy, and flavorful.
Ordered the Tuna and Duck for the entree.
Both were excellent, will definitely be coming back.
We got the Cheesecake and Mango Cream for dessert. The Mango cream was very good.
Definitely a date night spot, the ambiance inside is amazing, and the staff was extremely kind.

We had our wedding reception here yesterday and I must say, one of our best decisions! All the guests loved the food that were presented and the serving staffs were beyond excellent. Special thanks to the Chef, Leo the manager, and Fransisco who made our planning smooth and calm amidst the tempest of wedding planning. Highly recommend for any special events, you wont regret!

Food and ambience are both good. Came twice. The first time we noticed that there is an older, refined crowd that patrons the restaurant which is fine…. What we didn’t like is that the chef seems to be catering to this particular crowd.. what we noticed more on the second time we visited is that the chef came out and checked in with most tables but failed to come to others that did not fit this description. Felt almost like an elite country club snobbery type of atmosphere. For this reason, likey not to return

We heard rave reviews about Hunter The Restaurant where we decided to celebrate Father’s Day. The restaurant is small but spacious which gives you that intimate cozy ambiance and elegant decor. We were greeted warmly and was immediately seated to our table since we made reservations for 4 people. They served complimentary bread, olives and prosciutto ham which wasn’t too salty and melted like butter. It was a good combination to dip the bread on the broth that came with the spicy steamed clams of White Wine, Garlic, Cilantro, Serrano Chilies appetizer. For the main course we ordered and shared the dry aged porterhouse for 2 with a side of french fries, broccoli rabe and sauce béarnaise. We also ordered the Paella Española with Prawns, Clams, Calamari and Cod for 2. The items are familiar enough to feel comfortable, yet unique enough to provide an unforgettable culinary experience. We ordered multiple desserts starting with the (1) strawberry shortcake with fresh berries, (2) Apple Galette, (3) Ricotta Cheesecake with Raspberries, (4) Mango Créme Caramel, (5) Pistachio Parfait, (6) Vanilla Sorbet.
Each dessert were beautiful, inventive, seasonal, and poetic.

Our server Francisco and his team was professional, very accommodating, and knowledgeable.

We even met the young innovative Chef Hunter so we can pay our compliments. He explained how everything is handmade and nothing is frozen except for the ice cream. He was also nice enough to pose a picture with us too.

Overall the food and service was truly impeccable. I hate to use that word and sound pretentious, but I don’t know what else to say–they were incredible!

Compliments to the chef. The food is a revelation but the overall experience is outstanding. It all began before we even arrived with a request for French Rosé Wine we made and selections were waiting for us when we arrived. Kat our server knew her wines and the food. Provided great dessert recommendations to round out a great meal. Highly recommend the Foie Gras, Veal Chop and Pistachio Parfait. Will be back again this place rivals any top restaurant in NYC. Reservations recommended.

Had my bridal shower here and it was an absolute dream! The aesthetics at this restaurant are just beautiful! My guests are still talking about the food 2 weeks later. Leo was an absolute pleasure to work with, as well as the entire Hunter team. Can’t wait for many more evenings/events here. Thank you all for making my day AMAZING!

Definitely book a table in advance. I assume this place will start to get busy as it becomes more well known. There is an a la carte menu and a prix fixe menu. Drinks were exceptional. Food was excellent (honestly, it almost made me cry in my first bite) and on par with the restaurants in the city. Decor and cutlery were both clean and beautiful. Service was extremely attentive and caring. It’s wonderful to have such a restaurant at this caliber in Long Island.
