Our first time here and not sure how we have missed this gem as Hunt and Fish has been in place for 10 years?! Our server Brian was excellent. He gave us great suggestions and recommendations across the board. Place is really beautiful inside the dining room and the bar is awesome. The lighting and positioning of the alcohol is really special.

As far as the food, we started with the mixed greens salad which we split and it was still a massive portion! I can’t forget to mention the pop-overs…with some special chive butter which was delish! Husband had the branzino and side or broccoli rabe and I had the Mac and cheese with bacon. We loved everything!! Dessert had the cheesecake which had awesome density. Not too light and not too heavy with fresh berries. So so good.

From a marketing perspective and the fact that “supper clubs” are on the rise, wonder if saying that it’s a club deters people? The pic of the establishment looking from the outside shows the dark swanky bar and leather couches so one could potentially think it was private. Other than that one comment, we will be back! Excellent visit for sure!

I had the opportunity to have dinner at The Hunt and Fish Club before a Broadway show a few months back, and I had an incredible experience. That’s why, when I was looking for a place to host an intimate dinner with a group of 10 friends to celebrate my 40th birthday, this restaurant immediately came to mind.

Let me tell you—Candace, Kristin, Duncan, and the entire team did such an amazing job. They made sure that not only the food, wine, and ambiance were incredible, but the service was completely impeccable.

I would truly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fabulous night out, an intimate dinner, or simply a gathering with family and friends around great food and amazing drinks.

I’m already looking forward to my next experience here.

This restaurant is absolutely a five star experience. It is pricey, but truly you get what you pay for. The service is outstanding. We came here on our honeymoon and we were treated like royalty. The food was phenomenal, it came out beautifully plated and tasted even better. I recommend the gnocchi. And the filet mignon. The popovers that they serve, the table are actually to die for, and we haven’t stopped talking about them since we left. I wish I remembered our servers name, he was amazing. Wine list is abundant, plenty to choose from. We can’t wait to come back next time we take a trip to New York City.

Great restaurant with fantastic ambiance, food and Service. This is the kind of place that does not rush you and you must meet Duncan who runs the place like a well oiled machine. We were here celebrating birthdays for two of my special people and this place does not disappoint. They also have a fantastic receptionist and bar. Did I mention lactation is fantastic if you are catching a broadway show and they are very good about ensuring you are on time.

Thank you Duncan and the entire staff.

Lobster ravioli was amazing! Split a 10oz filet, lobster ravioli and fries. We couldn’t eat it all! Service was on point, and food was even better. The atmosphere sets the mood!

From the outside lowkey, from the inside beautiful and elegant.

Extremely pleasant dining room, super friendly and helpful service that made me and the group feel welcomed. Amazing food options – variety is great, good prices with excellent quality. Also the popover bread they serve as a welcome bite is to die for. I look forward to coming back

Food was good but has vinegar in EVERYTHING; French Onion soup was best we’ve had; pork chop was perfectly cooked; business dinner. Service was kind of slow – there was a NY Mets event and everything basically became a black hole. Some areas of the restaurant are a bit in disrepair – our booth fell apart.

We visited this restaurant for Valentine’s Day dinner. My boyfriend made the reservation one week in advance and paid a $100 deposit. We chose this place mainly because of the beautiful photos online, especially the elegant main hall with chandeliers and romantic ambiance.
When we arrived, we waited about 30–40 minutes for our table, which we understand can happen on a busy holiday. However, we were seated in a large basement dining area instead of the main hall shown in the photos. The space was not bad, but it was not the atmosphere we were expecting for such a special occasion.
Service timing was also disappointing. We waited 30–40 minutes for appetizers and about 1 hour and 30 minutes for the main course. We had already decided on our order while waiting, so the extended delay felt excessive.
Our server recommended a large, shareable steak, which we ordered. The steak was big, but for a total of $418, we expected a smoother and more organized experience.
Given the delays and service issues, we honestly expected some kind of gesture from the restaurant — whether a small discount, a complimentary dessert, or at least an acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Unfortunately, nothing was offered.
The food itself was good, but the overall experience did not match the expectations set by the restaurant’s presentation, especially for Valentine’s Day.

Food was great. Service was definitely one of the best. We had a Broadway show and the waiter made sure our orders were out quick and not rushed at all. Drinks were definitely the top, I loved the “alls fall down”.

Hunt and Fish is up there on my list of favorite steakhouses. My meal was superb. It was very quiet and intimate. While the menu can be a bit pricey, it worth the price. The drinks were on point. I wished the waiter was just a bit more attentive, but the waiter could’ve taken a lax approach since I took awhile to decide what I wanted. I loved the wide variety of sauces that could be ordered to complement the steak. Additionally, the bathroom is the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant also provided complimentary bread while waiting for an entree which is delicious. I ordered the 8oz steak, creamed spinach, crab cocktail, calamari, oysters, and Cavatelli Bolognese.
