Some of the recent reviews made us nervous to try out Hunt but we had a really nice evening and enjoyed our food! Our server was very attentive and we didn’t wait long at all for the food. We loved the Brussel sprout starter so much we ordered it again after we finished round 1. I will say the second batch was much more salty which didn’t bother us as we love salt but could see how others may not like that. We’d definitely come back, good food and cool atmosphere.

The food here is interesting with more of a Wild game entree menu. The aesthetics of the place is warm with a lot of exposed rough wood ceilings and floors. The stools are lagged into the floor with small round wood tops which provide a great bleacher butt experience. The tables are small and not wide enough to provide a comfortable eating surface. Overall the environment is charming and comfortable but the seating is not. They provide a nice list of unique crafted cocktails which are pleasantly delicious! The food portions are small and not what you would expect for an entree type meal. I tried the wild boar schnitzel which was okay but heavily salted. Two drinks and an entree cost around $50.00 including the automatic 18% gratuity for groups of 6 and up. I found that pretty odd as it’s usually for groups of 8 and up in the restaurant industry. Overall give it a try since it’s new and I expect the quality and service to pick up as the kinks are worked out.

Fantastic place!!!

Great drinks and the food was delish! The pickle plate is amazing, the pimento cheese was creamy and just the right amount of spiciness and the grilled Ceasars was pure goodness.

For dinner the fresh papardelli pasta with tomato sauce and the mushroom stroganoff were jusy perfect. But the Elk burger was my favorite!

Lastly, Halle was a great bartender!

I look forward to returning here next time I am in Spokane!

The ambiance is wonderful along with the drinks and new style of modern campfire foods. The quail and chilli were absolutely top notch! The bartenders were super friendly and the speakeasy feel definitely comes to life here! Definitely a hidden gem and excited to see how it interweaves itself as a Spokane staple hangout! The drink creations were fantastic as well. Although, seating is limited and tight, mainly for smaller parties and a go to place for drinks. Definitely recommend!

I’m really loving the aesthetic of old Spokane building’s basements being opened up and turned into speakeasy-like restaurants. This one’s especially cool with the dramatic lighting hidden in the rafters.

It wasn’t busy when I went on a Thursday afternoon, and the bartender was very attentive. They have a mocktail option for those who aren’t drinking alcohol, I thoroughly enjoyed the spring buck.

For appetizers my wife and I got pickle plates off the happy hour menu, we saw them go out to another table and they weren’t that large, and both of us love pickles so we didn’t want to share. But this item is a must.

For dinner I had the pork shoulder and my wife had the duck, I would say that the portions are pretty small, but the prices do reflect the smaller portions. The duck was perfect, and my pork shoulder was wonderfully seasoned, but just a little dry.

Wish we could have stayed for dessert, but we had to leave in a hurry to catch a show.

I’ll recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet trendy location to take a friend or a date to enjoy some drinks, and a few tasty plates.

My beau and I were invited to celebrate a double birthday last Saturday night. The girls chose Hunt for dinner and we loved every second of it. The rotating menu was intriguing and delicious. The drinks had fun names with unique flavors. We were sat in the “tent” and enjoyed it very much. The privacy was nice for our loud mouths. The aura was very nice, with soft mood lighting using old fashioned Edison bulbs. I really liked the decor in the restaurant. Everything was aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fine dining experience with a more casual feel. Be prepared to spend some money because great food isn’t cheap. Make a reservation and be sure to be early enough to have the option of each entree. Some menu items sell out fast.

Atmosphere is fine, they aren’t they only restaurant in a basement in spokane and the other restaurants would probably offer better food. We don’t eat out often so this was meant to be a treat and really it was just disappointing. There was no wild game on the menu which one would assume there would be because of the name of the place. Restaurant week may have just been a bad time to try these guys but I can’t say I would return even when restaurant week is over. Service was great but generally I would think it would take longer than 15min to get through 3 courses…. not worth the money.

I’m not 100% committed to this rating and would be happy to revisit and rescore. I visited this location during restaurant week and was intrigued by the eclectic menu options. Unless there was a secret room I couldn’t see, it wasn’t overly packed but the service would have suggested otherwise. Restaurant week gives you a 3 course meal and the spacing between those meals was super long. My friend and I were famished and had to ask for bread between one of the meals. My white linen was bitter so I got a dirty martini for the next round and was pleased. I loved the location and decor. The staff was also nice. I’d love to go back and give it another shot as the food was pretty darn tasty. Their bread pudding is a must!

Really great cocktails. Had the the Garden Collins which was great and followed with an Old Fashioned. Had some happy hour apps and the mushrooms were fantastic! Just wish the bar stools were slightly more comfortable but they do look cool!

Delicious meal and terrific service!! We split 4 entrees so we could sample. The rabbit stroganoff is very clean tasting– not heavy. My favorites were the duck leg cassoulet and the “fried” rice with kimchi and pork belly.
