As promised! This place is AMAZING!! My adult daughter and myself got there about twenty minutes before they opened on Mother’s Day and the staff was quick to take orders, very polite and patient and the prices were very reasonable with a variety of hot foods along with cold deserts and treats. Not only was our food juicy and delicious it was FRESH!! I have lived here locally for 23 yrs never gotten a chance to stop in and try this place of all the times I’ve gone by and I wish I would have stopped by sooner yet this experience topped off my Mother’s Day so big THANK YOU again and job well done yall!! Hope to go back real soon.

I don’t know who purchased Hunnicutt’s but…it’s definitely not the same. There were 2 people ahead of me, it took them 25 minutes to get to me & then I waited 20 more minutes to get my order. I assumed my tenderloin was going to be fresh & delicious like old times. Not at all! I even asked for mayo, mustard & ketchup (check out pic) My strawberry sundae LOOKED amazing but it was not as good. I may try again during the summer but I was highly disappointed

Me and my mom were sitting there for almost an hour while there sitting there training there people when they can do it while nobody’s there or on there own time and my mom paid for a sandwich and she didn’t even get it and they were out of almost everything . And we had to go back 3 times! To get are order!! There’s 2 adults in there to! This is just unbelievable. And look at her sandwich like what is this .

This is an awesome place to get great food, shakes and blitzes for a VERY reasonable price. A must place to go whenever I have company or go to Muncie. Wish we had this in Hartford City. I drive over there and buy 4-6 blitzes/shakes and keep them in the frig so my parents always have a great snack for the evening.

I’ve always enjoyed the ice cream there since I was a kid, and now with a daughter in high school it’s a fun and easy way to spend some quality time together. Food is great, prices are fair, but I’d really wish the place had a bigger building and lot. Can barely fit any vehicles in the drive through, and can be looking at a bit of a wait depending on the time of day. I’d like to see it grow, Hunnicutts is as much a part of Muncie as the old Ball Tower sitting off 12th St. I’m sure they wouldn’t be hurting financially if they expanded and could increase the customer flow.

I used to live in Muncie so I’ve been visiting Hunnicutts for a while. I would have them a 5 but due to poor customer service by Phillip they are getting a 2. I walked up to the counter a lady was outside had already placed her order and was standing back. I was right there at front window waiting. Phillip comes up and acknowledges the lady behind me, doesn’t say who is next but ask can he help her. I told him I was next in line. Then when i told young man about his behavior he told me it didn’t happen. Phillip please learn better customer skills, only can think you had a problem with my skin color abs decided to help someone who looks like you. I won’t ever be visiting this place again.

Always went to hunnicuts as a kid when I lived in Muncie. I currently live in Alabama & sure do miss their ice cream! The strawberry sherbet is by far the best flavor they own in my opinion. I know its probably changed a lot since I’ve been, but they still deserve a 5 star in my opinion! Best ice cream in Muncie!
