Feels fancy for the area but food and service are sub par. Had the shepherds pie which was dry and covered in hard and chewy peas. Had a pork chop that was way overcooked and difficult to cut let alone eat. Took 15 minutes and 3 interactions with multiple waitresses to get sweetener for an iced tea. Bill was wrong at the end. Nice ambiance but everything else about the experience was lacking. Can get better food and better service far cheaper elsewhere. Would not recommend.

It’s always great to see the owner Steve work in the grill at hungry run Winery and bistro. I had a great Mongolian chicken dinner and the rosemary fries were delicious. Awesome venue looking forward to coming back.

Went last night to Hungry Run for the first time. It was tremendous. I had the NY strip, my wife had the salmon, and both were excellent. We also each had a wine flight and tasted a number of really nice wines – could have shared a flight and had enough wine for the meal. Finally, they had live music from a couple who played classic rock and folk tunes and harmonized really well. Great food, wine, and music – doesn’t get better than that. Loved it.

Love the atmosphere, quiet modern barndominium building. Lots of great wine. The food is not typical home cooking, it’s unique but normal enough for most people to find something good.

My husband and I were staying at the Airydale Retreat for a two night anniversary getaway and ate here for dinner the two nights! The first night we enjoyed a flight of wine and shared it before selecting our bottles. My husband enjoyed salmon. I did the pasta special. I wasn’t a fan of the Alfredo sauce however the chicken, mushroom and asparagus were delicious!
Second night we had martinis which were yummy! My husband loved the crab legs and my steak was cooked perfectly!
The first evening we ordered a charcuterie board to go and we enjoyed it by the campfire at our retreat with our wine!
Can’t wait to plan another getaway.

We hosted our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner at Hungry Run Wine Bar & Bistro and couldn’t be happier with the experience! The dinner was absolutely fantastic – delicious food with beautiful presentation – and the service was truly impeccable. Every detail was handled with care, making the evening stress-free and memorable for our family and guests. Highly recommend Hungry Run for any special occasion!

My boyfriend and I are on the Xmas Wine Trail and this was the 12th winery we’ve been to! This place doesn’t look too fancy from the outside but my gosh it was awesome on the inside! The moment you walk in, you are met with a beautiful wall of wine, from floor to ceiling there is a rack of all their wines chillen. We were met with a group of servers and happened to be the first ones to be there that night. We got sat down, given a list of wines and got to pick 5 to try. I tried a coconut, a peach tea, a peach dessert, and two others, my favorite was the peach tea. My bf got a bottle of their 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon.

This place was also a restaurant, and let me tell you the food was SO GOOD. We started with a loaf of bread with olive oil and the bread was so tasty, they gave you a knife for it but it cut like butter. I ordered the NY strip steak and it was SO TASTY. I love fat on my steaks it’s my fav part and that was divine. My bf got chicken Alfredo, it was also very tasty, the Alfredo was very flavorful and the garlic knot that went with it was so tasty. We both got a glass of wine, and I got to pick a dessert. The Beignets we got were so tasty, I loved them no too sweet, no too sour.

All in all it was a amazing experience and we will be back. We ended up getting three bottles here, the coconut, the peach tea and the one my bf loved. ALSO Thank you for letting us take a pic with Tim in the wine wall! So awesome. We love our Tim adventure and being able to bring him to all the things. <3

$12 for a flight of wine. Definitely a must to stop in Hungry Run Wine. They have some sweet wines mixed with brandy and also a slew of other wines. The atmosphere is calm and chill. We didn’t eat but my god they have a good looking menu.

I ordered FILET OSCAR $45 the most expensive dish with temperature medium rare, but the steak came out as medium well, much harder than I expected, hope it’s not a mistake of waitress, then the cook needs to improve, to match the price!
