To be honest, they’ve never gotten our order right once in all the years we’ve lived here. One time, my pizza wasn’t even cut, just a whole pizza in a box. If I specify to omit certain veggies from a salad, they will instead add extra. If I pay for extra cheese, there will be less than usual on the pizzas or none at all in the salads. They usually never put the glaze seasoning on the pizza. Yesterday even, I selected on the app for extra butter cheese crust and the crust is bone dry, no buttery residue underneath like there should be. I select each time for the well-done option, and I even type it out separately too, as anything doughy nauseates me. Tonight, once again, they didn’t do my pizza well-done. It’s regular and it’s gooey on the inside. If I get it from any other location, the cheese will literally be light brown and crispy, no doughy texture or taste. Here, there’s nothing different than cooking it regular bake with the stuffed crust. I asked the woman about it at the window and she said if I put well-done on the app, then they probably put it through the oven 1.5 times, and that was that. There was no remediation, or inspecting my pizza to see if it looked well-done to her. She just didn’t care. I just don’t know how a place can get an order wrong literally 100% of the time and it’s not even huge orders. It’s just for my husband and I. This is why we’ve been taking our business to the other local pizza place more and more lately. If Hungry Howies bothers responding to this review to try to pretend they care to look professional, it’s useless because the truth is, the problem is never remediated by this business. If this business wants to make a change and stop getting so many bad reviews, then go in person and monitor the cooks at the store. There’s a new pizza place in town so this business can’t still keep pretending they’re a monopoly and get away with getting everything wrong and not even having understanding employees. What’s most upsetting is that for a lot of people, pizza is a “date night” or a special holiday or birthday party, and when they just get everything wrong, it ruins the whole date night, holiday, party, etc. I am not supposed to eat gluten to begin with, so the extremely rare occasion that I do now, I want my stomach being in ruins for 3 days to be worth it. But now my stomach is in ruins for 3 days for subpar doughy and slimy pizza with no crust seasoning glaze, trying to enjoy a Halloween pizza and movie date night with my husband. Make changes.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Hungry Howie’s, and a huge part of that is because of Kai Pierson. From the moment you walk in or place an order, Kai’s work ethic and attitude stand out immediately. He is genuinely one of those employees who makes the entire experience better just by being there.

Whether it’s handling orders, helping customers, or working behind the scenes, he stays focused, efficient, and calm—even during busy rushes. He never cuts corners and always makes sure everything is done correctly.

What really sets Kai apart is his positive attitude. No matter how hectic things get, he remains respectful, patient, and kind. He treats customers with genuine courtesy and makes them feel welcome, which is something you don’t always see anymore. He’s also great at communicating and making sure orders are accurate, which shows his attention to detail and responsibility.

Kai is clearly a reliable and dependable employee. He works well with his team, supports others when needed, and contributes to a positive work environment. It’s obvious that Hungry Howie’s benefits greatly from having someone like him on staff. Employees like Kai are the reason customers come back—not just for the food, but for the service.

Overall, Hungry Howie’s is lucky to have Kai Pierson. He represents the company extremely well and consistently goes above expectations. Wow, what a joke when I call and ask what’s the special I wanted the $13 three topping pizza half of it split one side, Howie Maui and the other side just simply pepperoni that’s half the toppings they’re not even using, picked it up and nowhere did they tell me that ham of all things is premium toppings and it was almost $20 number one why didn’t they say that. I asked about the special and I asked at the counter and they wouldn’t fix it what a joke

I was so so excited for my pizza sub. Just to get home and it be completely wrong My husbands meal was exactly as ordered and he enjoyed it. But I was so disappointed. The service was okay, a pretty quick in and out kinda deal.

It’s kinda a hit and miss. Sometimes the pizzas and subs are great. Other times the pizzas are burnt and the subs don’t come with the Lettuce and tomatoes on the side like asked.

Tried to go to front door at 8:40 pm and door was locked. Workers saw me and ducked down to hide. I stood at door until the 4th person to see me actually came to counter and motioned I had to go to drive through. Girl at window said it’s not her decision when I asked why people were hiding when someone was at the front door. She is one of the ones to hide who made a quiet sign with her finger to other employees when she saw me. We’ve been here a lot in the past and this was our first crazy experience. Hopefully customer service issues like this gets addressed by management.

Ordered at the window food was ready within about 15 min. We both had a hot sub. Chicken bacon ranch and a turkey. They were both very good and good portion for the $$.

Ordered online, food was ready when it said it would be. Gentleman at the drive through window was polite. Food was hot when handed over. By far the biggest thing to me is that the order was 100% correct!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve ordered from this location multiple times and NEVER had an issue.
