Edit 7/19/24/: Funny how the owner responds to almost everyone else but me lol. This review was made a week ago.

Too long to read: They messed up my order, hung up, and ghosted me because I wanted compensation.

I ordered a half pepperoni + jalapeno (garlic crust) and half cheese (cinnamon crust), well-done wings, a cheese pizza with garlic crust and cinnamon sticks. The cheese pizza and cinnamon sticks were fine, but my wings were NOT well done. And as for the half-and-half pizza, I received jalapenos on one side (nothing on the crust) and pepperoni on the other (garlic AND cinnamon on that side???), which I don’t understand how they can mess up both the toppings and the crust somehow. I called the store back once I got home, and I was hung up on both times. Keep in mind, this was about two hours before closing time–they weren’t leaving anytime soon. Only when a customer service guy called on behalf of me did the store answer the phone, as my phone number was basically disguised. Whoever finally answered the phone (this guy had a douchebag attitude btw) told me to call back the next day, so I did. Guess what? They told me (AGAIN) to call back the next day, and also said something about a one-day policy? Huh?? And so, I called corporate… They told me that I would hear back from them within the next 3-5 business days. It has been 6 business days. I hope that they haven’t forgotten about me. I will not stop until I get some kind of compensation. I do not have money to just throw around. I only wanted a refund or credit for the parts of my order that were made incorrectly, but because I’ve been getting treated like crap, a full refund would be nice. <3

P.S. I have worked at a pizza place before. This is NOT how we handled things. Whenever someone called, we answered. If someone had a problem with their order, we righted our wrong however we could. If you’re the one who messes up the order, don’t treat the customer like they’re the inconvenience.

Ordered 2 large pepperoni pizzas, was billed for it, $29 total with tip. Received a completely different order of 2 Calzones(not even remotely close) and was told in order to get a refund, I had to bring the original food untouched the next day(I was not keeping that food overnight nor driving across town to correct this). Ended up contacting uber eats and they sorted it out.

Whoever picked up the phone had an attitude about it and made it sound like it was intentional as they made it sound like they already knew what happened.

Overall, be aware it’s like a gamble ordering here, you might get your order or you might not, either way you get billed for it unless you intervene!

(Also side note calzone isn’t even an option on uber eats like come on)

Everytime we come here it’s always a good experience. The foods usually ready, always hot and delicious. The veggie thin crust is our favorite. However their wings need real improvement. To be honest the wings taste like frozen store bought Tyson type wings and only come in 1 flavor which is hot and bland. So we usually skip them but it was a kids party and we spent well over $100. I recommend you come here for the great pizza, wonderful bread sticks or cheese bread but if you’re getting wings and pizza try Pizza Hut cause Papa John’s has yhe same wing problem too.

People, food, and service are amazing. It’s most of the time empty and quiet.

Your food will get prepped almost instantly if you go pick up your order the moment you order for pick up and the employees are uber nice and cool.

The food is as always amazing and made to your exact preference from the years that I’ve been ordering from here. Never an issue.

Order #279 placed August 17, 2024 store #00248. My daughter was eating cheeser bread and started gagging and once she spit her food out she saw a fingernail in her bread. I called the store #00248 and advised the young man thati needed to speak to a manager because it’s a fingernail in my cheeser bread he said let me get a manager and holler to manager caller need manager it’s a fingernail in her food 3-4 minutes go by hear people talking then I’m put on hold. So while on hold I proceed to drive to Hungry Fingernail Howies 16 minutes of being on hold the call was disconnected. Called back and they hung up the phone, called again and now it’s a manager that answers and I explained the situation being on hold hung up on wanting my money back and he says this my first time hearing this but I’ll have your money to refund back to you, sir you heard the young man say Manger customer says it’s a fingernail in her food I heard people talking before being put on hold. I didn’t know anything about it till now, Hungry Hiwies is not that big it’s a big restaurant and don’t lie on that man that said it to you. So he get loud with me and get louder yes I did and then the Manger hangs up on me after I said I’m on the way back for my money and with you all fingernail. When I get there the young lady with the black and burgundy hair and long nails tries to hand me the money and I said I want to speak to the manager first she look around he’s making pizza, tells him I want to speak to the manager, close window come back he’s coming can you pull to the side no i didn’t pull to the side to get a fingernail in my food im jot moving, then he sends someone else to the window cause you can’t talk to a customer about a issue and this guy says he’s on the phone (I thought he was making pizza). They lie in this store and I will be filing a complaint with Hungry Howies and the health department tonight. I wouldn’t have been this mad but the way you handle me a customer and then lie on your staff and disregard no apology from nobody in there is just wrong.

I usually have no problem with my food or service, but as of recently I have ordered from this location, either my pizza or cheesy bread has been burnt. If you wouldn’t eat it, don’t serve it.

They never had anything you asked for you can’t order marinara sauce. You can’t order anything off their secret menu for your children, and it’s always a foreigner that picks up the phone that you can barely understand.

August 1, I ordered lunch from this hungry Howie’s and it was delivered to me. The sub that I got, they handed me the box and my finger went through the bottom because it was completely soggy. When I called to complain, the manager was extremely rude And told me that all they could do was be to switch it out. I asked him if he could have the driver come back and pick it up and just give me my money back and he said no. He then cussed me out and hung up on me. On top of that, the order was over 30 minutes later than what they told me. They told me 45 minutes and it ended up being almost an hour and a half wait.
