We finally got to try this new place, so glad we did. We had the sausage pizza with stuffed crust & garlic herb for the crust seasoning. Wow! The pizza was good, but the crust, amazing. So flavorful! We also got the cheesy bread, that was just as good if not better. Bursting with flavor. My boys had a cheese pizza with butter garlic. It was ok for me. They offered multiple deals, we took advantage of one of them. With the deal, it very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this place, again so good!

“It’s probably just the Pizza talking, but I love you guys” -P.G.
Got the works with extra toasted crust. I was expecting to have some more toppings for having a combination of everything but it was still really good especially the garlic italian herb crust. And the pepperoni roll is perfect in every way

The pizza overall was good… except the pepperoni flatbread, which had the texture of cardboard and pepperoni so burnt I was genuinely confused how it made it past quality control. At some point, someone pulled this out of the oven and thought, “Yes. This is acceptable.” —I have to ask: would you serve this to your own family or friends?
……when asked “How likely are you to refer a friend?” — well, this would have been the moment. I actually had family over who had never tried this place before, so this was their introduction. Unfortunately, it wasn’t exactly the glowing referral I would’ve hoped for.
Now, the wings. These were essentially breaded chicken nuggets labeled as boneless wings, lightly introduced to the sauce but not fully committed—possibly out of concern they’d get “too wet.” I would honestly rather take plain nuggets home, heat them in my air fryer, and choose my own sauce than pay for nuggets that require me to dig through my random dipping-sauce drawer to finish the job.
I do hope that this information is used to help create a better customer experience in the future.

I do really love the pizza here. I went online to order, went to place the order and they charged my account but said it failed to place the order. When I called they said they didn’t see the order and there’s nothing they can do, they said i should see my money back in a day or two but if not to call back or just call the bank. They also said this isn’t the first time this has happened and the last person had to call their bank. I’ve been working in customer service for 7+ years and I think it’s just bad. You should at least offer to make the person a free pizza or some sort of discount. The guy apologized but that’s still frustrating.

The employees were very nice. The pizza was superb! The dough had a fresh taste with a crisp crunch due to the bake. The sauce had a delicious tomato flavor and was portioned perfectly. The cheese pull didn’t quit and had a fresh taste. The pepperoni was perfectly spiced and just the right crispy crunch. I had a sesame seed crust which gave it the perfect finish! I have to drive 30 min. to get to this location, which I plan to do on a regular basis.

First try of Hungry Howies better than expected. We got one deep dish and one classic round, both large and both well done. The classic round we order with cheeseburger toppings(beef, bacon, onion, pickle, cheddar). It was nicely cooked with a good amount of toppings and had great flavor. I didn’t taste the bacon or cheddar per se, but it didn’t hurt the pie at all. Seasoned herb crust wasn’t necessary, and speaking of crust, it had good snap to crisp to chew ratio. The cheese blend was good, not overtly flavorful but good. The sauce is bright but not too acidic. The deep dish that i feel is their Detroit style pizza was with cupping pepperoni. The pepperoni were good, but I felt the pizza needed more where next time I would consider ordering double pepperoni just to get to enough. The real let down though was the crust was under-cooked on this pizza despite having ordered well done. The Detroit style dough is hard to get right and around here. Jets and little ceasars are the only places that get it fully cooked that I’ve found. Overall, though, I would definitely go back for the hand tossed crust and try some of the other interesting pizzas on the menu.

What can be said about the howie man.. the food he brings to us undeserving peasants is like nectar of the sweetest vines from the garden of hungry howies. Words cannot express the love I have for this pizza chain, Remy from Disneys Ratatouille ain’t got jack on the people who make these DIVINE products. Gordon Ramsay cannot even come close to wrapping his head around the skill and effort that is put into making these products that the man and women of hungry howies has safe guarded with their lives over these years of service. God bless hungry howies. Pizza was pretty solid.

Don’t try to call the number for the store. You get some guy with a foreign accent that says his system is down and to call back. When you call back he gives a different name and says the same thing. YOU CANNOT CONNECT DIRECTLY TO THE STORE to handle issues with your order. It’s ridiculous. Hungry Howie’s “ordering service” is completely idiotic.

If you are coming for gluten free pizza, just don’t. Crust was underwhelming and sauce tasted processed and steak didn’t have much flavor. Tiny tiny pizza for almost $30, you would hope it would be worth it and no It was just not good.

I grew up on this pizza in FL, its been 20 years since I had it and it did not disappoint. Ordered a regular crust meat lovers and toppings were plentiful, the crust was just right and perfectly crispy. Really frickin good. Also got a thin crust cheese with ranch seasoning on the crust, i dont even like ranch dressing and it was awesome. Glad i went for the nostalgia and rediscovered something even better!!! 🙂
