Thought I would give it another shot.
Well service was very good.
Pizza was a bit SKIMPY .
SO GLAD I PAID TO HAVE EXTRA CHEESE.
LOTS OF EMPTY AREAS.
Pizza prices are getting expensive and I realize everything cost more to make but I should not have to hunt for my toppings.
Emily E. was a super order taker and a friendly welcome when I arrived to pick up the order, which was right on time.
Emily 5 Stars for sure
The cheesy bread, 3 stars and I’m being generous, it was very doughy and undercooked.
The newer location on Mound and 25 is so much better than the former location
1 year later they have lost my business. Ordered delivery and received partial order. They refused to complete order and gave credit and was told need to order again to receive items we bought and paid for at next order. Was told not our policy to fulfill delivery orders not fully delivered. Next delivery will include items bought and paid for. If I buy more they will give me what they owe me. Lost customer.
Placed an order for pick up and arrived a few minutes after the app said it was ready. Person behind the counter looked a few times, and said it already went out. I double checked my phone to make sure I was at the right location and had ordered pick up. I was and I had. She said they would remake and it would be ready in 10 minutes.
While waiting for my order, one of the workers repeatedly made hacking noises for several minutes–the type one makes when they are barely stifling vomiting. That was an extra pleasant.
15 minutes later, I received my order, with a cursory apology. One of the pizzas in my order was wrong (full mushroom, 1/2 anchovie, 1/2 steak-my son wanted to try something new, don’t judge.) ). The two workers were in the back of the store. I paused, hoping they would look up and notice the customer still standing in the store staring a them. They did not. I said “excuse me”, waving my hand a bit. No response. I rose my voice so it could be heard. Paused. No response. I rose my voice again, and they responded startled, acting like my volume needed to be heard was unnecessary.
I showed the pizza and receipt to the worker, asking her to confirm it was wrong. She read “1/2 anchovie.1/2 steak.” I did not bother to point out that the pizza was covered with steak. But did say “and what does it say above that?” When she noticed, she asked if I wanted the order made again, or (and there was hesitance) a refund. Clearly no one has trained this person on the concept of a “make good” when an order has been notched. I opted for the refund, as my family was hungry. She spent some time entering something into the computer (it was an online credit card order), and said “you’re all set” and started turning away. I asked if I could have a receipt “for that last bit”, not trusting the track record. She printed me our a receipt *of my original order*, rather than one confirming the order had been refunded.
I gruffly told her to enjoy this one star revue, and walked out with my unusually greasy, sloppily made, slightly undercooked pizza, before my patience had the chance to turn any further.
This is not the first bad experience I’ve had with this location.
