I LOVE their food! The BREAD AND CRUST are absolutely phenomenal! Perfectly soft and fluffy with crisp outside..YUM!! It’s the ONLY pizza I will order. I order from the Douglas location regularly. Sometimes even a few times within a week. And with the occasional wrong pop or no icing. Everyone is always friendly and I can’t say I’ve ever had a BAD experience. But tonight the girl who took my order was maybe a new hire or doesn’t usually handle taking orders cuz she was a bit unfamiliar with the system. Lots of “hang on for a sec” and sorrys. Not a problem..didn’t bother me. But when I ordered my cinnamon bread she specifically asked if I wanted icing and I said OF COURSE! She even mentioned some people will call saying the DIDNT WANT the icing?? But she put me on hold after struggling and a different person came back to finish my order. It was the manager and I even told him to tell her she did a great job. Fast forward to got the pizza n cinnamon bread but no icing! I call and the manager says the driver could run more to me in 20-30 minutes!! It would be cold by then!! Plus I want it WITH my pizza!! I asked if I could have a free cinnamon bread with my next order and the manager said all he could do is 25 percent off?? VERY DISAPPOINTED! He said people lie!!? Am I wrong for being upset? I’ve spent lots of money on their pizza!

Repeatedly ignored over a simple request – really disappointing
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel like I have to say something. We ordered from Hungry Howies and made one very simple request: garlic sauce with our meal. Not once, not twice, but three times we asked for it.
First, we added it in the special instructions on the order. No response. So we followed up with a phone call to double-check — we were told it would be included. Finally, when the driver arrived, we reminded them again, and they assured us it was in the bag. Spoiler: it wasn’t.
It might sound like a small thing, but the garlic sauce was a key part of what we were looking forward to with our meal. The food itself was fine, but when you ask for something three times and still don’t get it, it just shows a total lack of attention and care.
It’s not about the sauce — it’s about the service. If a business can’t get a simple, clearly communicated request right after being reminded multiple times, it really makes you question how seriously they take customer satisfaction.
Very disappointing experience, and we won’t be ordering from Hungry Howies again.
