I usually enjoy hungry howie’s. However, I habe reached out to this store twice and corporate three time and no one has done anything. I found 3 pieces of hair on my pizza and one which was baked into the crust. No has gotten back to me about a refund. I live 50 minutes away from the restaurant so getting a new one made once I was home, not an option. So my word of advice is to check your pizza before you leave the store, even if you have a sick, screaming baby wanting to get home.

The guy that was working today was amazing he had a wonderful personality and really made me feel welcome into the store. I got there about 11:20 a.m. so if y’all know his name he deserves a raise he was amazing not to mention the pizza was fantastic

I ordered pizza here and got a notification that my order was ready. I brought my small children with me to pick it up. When I got here, they told me they accidentally gave my order to someone else and they were not very apologetic about it at all. They seemed more irritated to be having to deal with this than anything. They told me they could re-make my order and throw in a free dessert or breadsticks. Since my children are now eating dinner 40 minutes later than they should be, I said no on the dessert. I didn’t need free cheese bread because it would just go to waste – my original order had all the food I needed. Because of this big inconvenience of my family eating dinner much later than usual plus me having to wait there an additional 20 minutes with 2 small children, I asked for them to both refund me and also still make the order, as it wasn’t my fault they gave my food to someone else. They refused to do this. The guy even called someone at my request – either the franchise owner or the manager, who also refused. We order pizza from here several times a month but we will now be taking our business elsewhere because this was a ridiculous offer of “compensation” for giving my food away and wasting my time waiting another 20 minutes for food. Staff needs to learn how to read before giving orders to people picking up food. Names are in huge letters on the ticket, this should not have happened.

I will be calling corporate in the morning.

In March I placed an order for 5 pizzas for the son birthday party the day before the party but the day of the party, I called them as soon they opened and canceled my order. So tonight I called to order my son a pizza and the guy on the phone told me I was flagged to pay before I ordered (which doesn’t make any sense) but he said that I didn’t cancel my order of 5 pizzas so I can not order without paying I told him that I did call and canceled and it’s not my fault the guy didn’t cancel my order when I called. This made me mad and I will not be ordering from hungry Howard’s again

The pizza here was by far the worst I’ve ever had. It was greasy beyond belief, and the taste didn’t do anything to make up for it. I’m not sure what went wrong in the kitchen, but it certainly wasn’t a recipe I’d recommend to anyone—let alone my worst enemy! The one redeeming factor was the lady behind the counter; she was kind and helpful, which I appreciated. However, her warmth couldn’t save the experience. If you’re looking for a good slice, you might want to keep searching.

I have a promo code: “VIP FREE LARGE WITH ANY MENU PRICE HOWIE BREAD PURCHASE.” It reads “USE ONLINE ONLY.” When I tried to use the code online, it was ringing up as $6.99 for the bread and $11.79 for the pizza. I did not add anything other than those two items. I did not add any toppings that cost extra, according to the site. I called the Northport, AL store. A man answered asking “pickup or delivery.” I told him I had a question. He said he couldn’t hear me and to hold on. A few seconds later he asked me what I said. A woman answered then. I think the call was on speaker. I started trying to explain. The woman told me there was nothing they could do about anything online. I asked who I needed to call to get the problem resolved. She told me she could not hear me. I had full service. I moved to the window. She told me to hang up and call back. She said she still could not understand. I hanged up. I called back. She answered. I explained. She said, “the best thing she could tell me” was to call back in the morning when her general manager would be there. I said okay. I then called the Tuscaloosa, AL location to try my luck. A woman answered and put me on hold before I could even speak. I waited for over fifteen minutes. Not very professional or courteous. I will be ordering from Domino’s now instead.

They didn’t give us all of our food. When we called them they made it seem like we were the problem. It’s been a week & there has not been any correspondence from them. The manager told me that she had to check with the staff on that shift to see what happened. The manager stated that she would call me back in a few hours. It’s been 5 days now. I called corporate & they forwarded my information to the owners. Each store is independently owned, so good luck. A complete waste of time & energy. They didn’t even offer to give us the item we paid for. We spent $70 total. Needles to say, we won’t be back. I’m also informing all of my clients to avoid this location. I’m a business owner, so we won’t be getting anything from this location again.
