The family went here for dinner and the wife said. The staff was amazing and the food was very good. A full rack of ribs was 17 or 18 dollars. When the ribs came out it was clearly half of rack. (six bones) She asked two workers and they both said, “this is our full rack.” That being said the ribs were very good.

I really wish I could give 4.5 stars. I stopped in at lunch time to grab breakfast. I had their everything omelette with hash browns and rye toast. I also had a side of bacon, , of course. Isn’t everything better with Bacon? Anyway, the staff was warm and inviting and not overly busy so I was seated immediately and was brought my menu and coffee right away. Their coffee was good, and the omelette was delicious, I especially liked the bigger chunks of ham. I also added Jalapeños. The atmosphere is older and a bit dark, as in dark wood and black ceilings, it has a feel of just being dark even at 12:30 in the afternoon. If I’m in the area I’d go back.

No stars would be very nice right now. I used to love this place. My mom, sister and I would come here all of the time for breakfast. Hungry house was our breakfast spot, but now it’s nothing like it used to be. I call to place an order and I said the whole order three times and she asked me to repeat it a fourth time and still messed up. I ordered the double up platter. It comes with two eggs, two bacon, two sausage, hash browns, and French toast or pancakes. I wanted two eggs over easy, all bacon no sausage, hash browns with cheese and pancakes. My sister got the same exact order except she wanted sausage and bacon as well as French toast. We waited 20 minutes for our order to get done and drove all the way there to get the food and then back home. When we sit down to eat, we open our boxes, my hash browns have onions on them and my eggs were over medium, no yolk. I also open my “pancake” box and it was French toast, didn’t even get my pancakes. My sister’s hash browns had nothing on them when she asked for cheese and her eggs were the same as mine. Then we go back and tell them what was wrong and they are about to make the order new but he wasn’t going to give me my 4 strips of bacon because I had eaten 2 pieces on the drive back to this place because they messed up and I was hungry so I thought I had a right to eat what was going to the garbage anyway, right? Not right. He was going to have them make my food with only two strips. After we sat there and he told me they were making it again, I asked for a complimentary cup of coffee and he said no. I then asked why I couldn’t receive a free cup of coffee for time and money I’ve spent and having to drive two times to this restaurant for your employees mistakes, and he just didn’t care about my time. I even said time is money right and he replied yes my time is money, so is mine buddy. You won’t be getting money from my family anymore.

We took a trip to Gays Mills from Iowa and decided to try a new place to eat. There were 5 in our group. My husband, myself and my 3 kids.
After waiting to be sat, we were given the menus. We waited for 12 minutes before they came over to ask if we were ready to order. Never asked if we wanted any drinks, we asked.
We ordered kids mac and cheese side of fries, my son said that was good. Grilled cheese fries and a side of bacon. The cheese was not melted fully and the bacon was rock hard. Patty melt and curly fries. The burger was freezer burnt the taste was strong. Quesadilla and curly fries. Nothing bad but nothing good. And a Ceaser salad. No complaints on that one. The food did come out fast. We were NEVER brought our sodas. However after 3/4 of our meal was gone we were told sorry and asked if we still wanted them. We told them no of course.
As for the service when we were being helped they were nice. They mainly stood up front talking or we just didn’t see them. One server was standing at the front rolling other people’s silverware while eating. Would not recommend to ANYONE.

Patty melt bread was burnt. Philly Steak meat was dry and overcooked. Quesadilla was ok. Service was slow. Flies all over the place. Probably not going to be back.

So they have new owners now that are going to be introducing more Vietnamese food into the menu. We were so excited to try it. It was INCREDIBLE! And the service was so fast and friendly! Very excited to see some new cuisines introduced in our small town

I recently visited Wisconsin for work, a quick trip of just two days and one night. As a Texan unaccustomed to the cold, I found myself craving something warm and comforting to eat.

That’s when I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, and I’m so glad I walked in. From the moment I stepped through the door, everyone was incredibly friendly. The waitress mentioned that the owners were introducing Vietnamese dishes to the menu, which immediately caught my attention.

I decided to try the pho with brisket and tendon, and it was nothing short of incredible. The broth was crystal clear, aromatic, and packed with rich flavor—it was perfect in every way!

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and the cook, and I was thrilled to learn the cook had worked at some of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Houston, Texas. She shared that she boils the broth for over 16 hours, and you can absolutely taste the dedication and expertise in every sip.

This restaurant was such a delightful surprise, and I can’t wait to return whenever I’m back in the area. If you’re looking for authentic and delicious Vietnamese food, I wholeheartedly recommend it—100%!”

Great food, only complaint was the breakfast steak was well done instead of medium rare. However, the flavor was really good.
