Nasty wilted lettuce on a sandwich with less meat than I’ve ever seen on a hobo sandwich. On top of it all, the girl making my sandwich was complaining about how her finger hadn’t healed all the way since the last time she sliced it open. Worst location in the quad cities. Do not support this location/franchise

Eh, it’s alright. I stopped in recently when I was in the area making deliveries and wasn’t impressed with it enough to ever give it another shot. Good amount of meat and cheese for the price, but the lettuce was completely wilty and brown, and that immediately put me off the meal. Took two bites of the sandwich and pitched it before just eating the brownie I also bought.

Close to the office so a quick stop for lunch. #17 is always perfect but a taco potato cannot be beat. The chocolate cake is addictive.

For a sandwich shop, it is better than most. The potatoes and soup along with the got sandwiches are were its at. The cheese balls have changed. They are salty and overcooked. I’m assuming because they’re not used to cooking smaller ones. Grandson loves it.

If I could give a no star I would. My order was wrong, I paid for two drinks, got one and then told I needed to buy another to get my second one. Finished sandwiches and have yet to get our fries that I was told we would still get. The guy at the front was extremely rude. We and people have gotten their fries who were here after we had left. I was polite and said thank you and the boy just walks away with an attitude enough to the point that other customers shook their heads.

Meh! Hungry hobo has gone downhill! It has been for years and I don’t honestly know why I continue to go. Perhaps it’s because I’ve been a frequent flyer for decades here and when it’s fresh and good it’s really good. But more often than not you get what seems as though day old bread and the sandwich toppings aren’t any good. As is the case with todays visit. I spent $13 on a king sandwich and bottle of water. The bread wasn’t fresh and the tomatoes were rotten! I took a few bites and tried picking off the tomatoes but the nasty rotten flavor remained. So I threw my sandwich away because I was already to my next job site and couldn’t back track 20 min. Nasty gross products 75% of the time and I think this is my last trip! I’ll go to the other sub shops and not wast money on hobo! It’s a shame though because it’s a QC original and used to be soooo good!

Order an “H” steak, extra cheese for my wife. Take it to her. It is the only thing in my order. And it is wrong. It’s chicken instead of steak. Not a huge deal, but the kicker…no way to contact them during lunch hours and let them know. Being able to contact this establishment is key. As in all businesses, communication is key and they shut down the customers ability to communicate…not very customer friendly.

I love the Hungry Hobo franchise, but the Milan store is lacking. Timing the bread was not fresh at all. Dry and crusty. And if you look at my pics you can see the bread to meat ratio was horrible ! The left is turkey and the right is ham. Waffle fires were overcooked and given to another patron first. My potato never came so I had to go tell the worker and they had to make it. The potato was actually good because a lot of times at this location they are orange and sent way too long before being thrown out. I try not to go to this location if I can help it but it is the closest to my home. I have found that the location on Locust Street is usually the best. For almost $16 I think the food should be a whole lot better and more meat on the sandwiches. Also the bread should be soft not dry and crusty.

Take-out sandwich was so drenched with their oil/vinegar sprays it was like trying to eat a wet sponge. This location is the worst.

Last couple of times our sandwiches weren’t made correctly. I called to complain but got such a run around,I hung up. We tried again tonight (always @ Milan store) the bread is so stale the sandwiches are nasty. Guess were done trying….
