We always look forward to Pancakes with Santa at Hungry Fox at Fox Hollow Resort! Their pancakes are seriously the best we’ve ever had—so fluffy and delicious! The event is so well-organized, with fun crafts for the kids that keep them entertained. (ours never want to leave!). This year, they went above and beyond by printing our Santa picture and putting it in the cutest card. It’s such a thoughtful touch that makes the experience even more magical. We can’t recommend this event enough—it’s a highlight of the season for our family!

I really enjoyed coming to eat here on Christmas Eve.
The fried appetizers tray of peppers,onions, pickles and cheese curds were delish!
The staff was very polite.
The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken were little to thick in my opinion making it over cooked and under cooked.
I personally like it to be thin chicken fried steak/chicken fried chicken.
The decor was nice…it also seemed to be updated.

Rode here on a whim…first impressions were not favorable. Of course they seemed short staffed but the service was fantastic and the food was A+. Prices are a tad high but when you factor in the on the lake vibe they were spot on. I had the meatloaf special and I would most definitely order again. So, the final word…I would defiantly ride my motorcycle an hour and a half to eat here again. (This is not a local restaurant for me).

Definitely worth a visit. We had the Club Sandwich and Fish Tacos. They came quickly and were hot. The decor is old fish camp and has limited outdoor lakeside seating. Sierra gave us exceptional service. We will be back.

I normally skip negative reviews until I go somewhere twice, but this was bad in so many ways. The waitress was great but she was the highlight. There was 3 other parties when we got there. First off, it was hot inside. We moved to a table near a fan to help. Our appetizers came quickly and were good. We waited….and waited….and waited…for the main meal. As we were preparing to bail, it finally came. 3 orders of catfish and 2 chicken fried steak. The catfish was luke warm. The coleslaw was also warm. None of the food was hot but it had been burnt. Maybe a good spot for the bar but I would skip the meal.

Mold on the fruit. My pregnant Daughter in law was almost finished when she realized the fruit was moldy. I’m not sure how this stuff is prepped and stored, but clearly, it is done incorrectly. It was upsetting because you can get sick, and they are feeding this to people not caring. So fruit seems like a great idea but not here unless you want to have food poisoning. But for normal review, The breakfast is gross. Biscuits and gravy tasted like paste. Asked for crispy bacon, got chewy bacon. This place has ZERO pride in the food and service. So plan on going somewhere else or better yet pack a cooler for day at lake, That’s what we will do next time.

This time we had an amazing waitress, she also made suggestions and it was spot on perfect. The chicken wrap was amazing and would fill up a very big teenage boy.

My husband and I decided to eat here because it was close to possum kingdom state park. We decided to get our food to go because we had to leave. He decided to get the country style breakfast which includes: eggs, home fries, sausage, and a biscuit with gravy. He did not get that. He was missing his gravy and his biscuit. I decided to get the waffle which includes a big waffle with powdered sugar, a cup of fruit and/or sausage and bacon. The bacon i received was inedible. The waffle did not have powdered sugar, nor did I receive my fruit cup.
Not sure why we received are food like this. We were not told they were short on food.

There’s a jukebox, a bar, and the view out the window is great. The california chicken bacon wrap was delicious and faaaat. I could only manage half of it. I recommend the battered and fried onions and jalapeños appetizer.
