I’m giving this place 3 stars. For one it’s a really cute little restaurant… the staff are sweet and the service wasn’t too long of a wait for the food. They have the menu displayed outside that you can check before entering as well just so you have a better idea of what kind of Korean foods they sell. It was very clean and they do have tables you can sit & eat at if you decide to dine-in.

For my case I did take out since I was on my lunch break. I ordered the popcorn chicken bowl and was unfortunately disappointed. Maybe I got a bad batch for my meal but the chicken was extremely dry and very hard to bite into. It had no seasoning as well, I could tell after eating a few that they were either re-fried again from a previous batch or just overcooked. But they were difficult to eat after a while. For the price being $14.99 just wished that it could have been made fresh or had a bit more flavor. I did dress up the chicken with the sauces they had on the side of the restaurant by the exit, but without it the popcorn chicken pieces would have been so bland. The bowl also came with rice & some pickled radishes but even the radish was kinda dry too and didn’t have enough acidity.

I will probably come back to give this restaurant another try with another item on the menu, as I’m sure their other dishes are better than this one. But hopefully the popcorn chicken could improve so it’s more juicy and easier to bite. Would definitely have to come back and try other options in the future.

We like Hungry Bulldog House, including their food, their concept, and the service. They serve Korean comfort food such as spicy rice cakes, katsu, and corn dogs, and the atmosphere is casual. My daughters always like to order their cheese dogs, and we ordered the mozzarella and K style hotdog original (full sausage dog) with cheetos and they tasted so delicious. The service was also good, and the interior is cute. I will try their other items on the menu next time.

Service is the standout here – 6 stars! First off, it’s def a mom and pop shop and seems like the couple are the only/main staff when we went. We were welcomed the moment we arrived, but not rushed. Had lots of questions and they answered everyone one, almost too honest :). We had our dog with us and very politely asked if we would like to eat there and if so, they would set us up outside. Just a bout the nicest way to say dogs not allowed inside, but never did ask us to take him outside even while ordering. They also provide you with gloves so we wouldn’t get our hands dirty. How awesome is that! The final kicker was the 10% discount for DB Restaurant week that we didn’t even ask or know about (there was a big sign though 🙂

Settled on the mozzarella and pepper Jack corn dogs to start. The owner showed us that the corn dog was half cheese and half dog so we wouldn’t be surprised. Also suggested we try as intended with the sugar coating. Personally, I will order without sugar next time as I like my savory food savory, but understand the appeal of savory with sweet. 4 stars.

Next up with the fried chicken wings – gloves included! Genius. All wing shops should consider it. Would save on napkins at the very least. Delish and huge! Why can’t all wing shops use these larger wings!!! 5 stars.

Finally the ramen. It was made from packaged ramen, but the owner was very clear about that (the almost too honest part). I would have noticed, but glad they were honest about it. Can’t be too mad because the price is right. They do add ingredients like Kim chi, egg and spices to kick it up and definitely hit the spot. 4.5 stars.

Going to have to try a few other dishes next time, like the katsu sandwich and curry, but definitely think this place is worth a visit.

Family owned Korean spot with Korean corn dogs and katsu. Ordered takeout from here on a Friday for lunch, and placed my order over the phone (they didn’t have an online ordering option). You pay for the food when you pick up. Our order took about half an hour to get ready. Credit cards accepted.

We got an original Korean corn dog, which had a beef hot dog inside a Panko crusted exterior. The bread was chewy and had a mochi-like texture, which we enjoyed. The pork katsu had two pieces, rice, and a slaw. It’s good for two people to split. We also got an order of rice cakes, which is good for 3-4 people. We paid extra to add cheese and udon. We got medium spicy, which was decent; I think we could have gotten spicy and it would be great.

The katsu sandwich is literally so good. I’m not sure what sauce they used but it’s delicious. My mom also enjoyed the bulgolgi bowl and my very picky brother loved the mozzarella corn dog. Overall I would definitely come here again just cos their sandwich is rlly good!

I ordered from for the first time today and I must say that it was the greatest decision I made today! I ordered their Katsu sandwich and fries and it was delicious!

The bread was soft, the Katsu was crispy and full of flavor and most of all the coleslaw on the middle was sweet and tasty! The fries were the perfect side to it, they were cooked just right and they complimented the sandwich so well.

They also have a variety of drinks that can cater to everyone’s tastes. Even though it ordered a coke today next time I will try the tea.

Hungry Bulldog House you have got yourself another customer that will be returning hungry for more on a different day!

This is my husband’s favorite place for Kimchi Fried Rice. The chef makes his own kimchi and the flavor is amazing. I really like their Curry Katsu.
