Was passing through town after riding “The Back of The Dragon” and was hungry. My wife and I decided we wanted BBQ and decided to eat here and we are so glad we did. We would give them a higher star review if we could. My wife had the brisket melt sandwich and she said it was so tender, great flavor, and the hush puppies were awesome. I had the rib and brisket combo and the ribs are probably the best I have ever had. So tender the meat just fell of the bone and seasoned perfectly. If you like ribs, I highly recommend you go try them. Hush puppies were amazing as well.
The staff was friendly and attentive, never had to ask for a refill or anything.
Probably some the best local BBQ I have had.

First time eating here, and we loved it! The barbeque was great, and my wife got the bbq salad. It too was delicious! Can’t wait to be back this way to come here again!

Me & my husband absolutely loved the service, food & entertainment. We picked a perfect night to try the bbq in town. No complaints: we’re from Tx so we’re real big on bbq. They have variety of sauces. Which all were amazing. My fav was Lil kick. Fried okra was bombs. Hush puppies were heaven. BBQ was cooked to perfection with great flavor!! We also got banana pudding to go. Which I’m sure will be amazing as well. Service was great.The band was truly talented. We truly loved the whole dinning experience.

Overall, we had a very good dining experience. We tried both the pork and brisket and both were cooked just right and had good flavor. They had a nice selection of house BBQ sauces that covered a wide range of flavor profiles. The sides were a little more hit and miss. The hush puppies were great, the green beans were institutional. The potato salad just needed a little salt to open up the flavors and then it was very good. The collards needed to be cooked a little longer (we got there for an early lunch, so maybe they just weren’t quite ready) and needed just a touch of sugar to balance out the bitterness of the greens, they also would have been helped with a little more onion. The prices were reasonable and the server was very friendly. We will definitely make the drive to go here again.

Traveling through town we walked in the door not knowing what to expect and walked out big fans! Live bluegrass music set the scene as skilled and hardworking waitresses handled a packed house with ease. Our drinks were always full and our bellies were more than satisfied with the delicious BBQ. Four small and hungry kids aren’t usually the most welcome restaurant addition but we were treated with kindness and helpfulness throughout our visit. I strongly recommend this establishment!

Brisket was delicious! Smoked wings were pretty good too, although I think they could have been smoked for a little less. They have a decent selection of on tap brews. Great selection of BBQ sauces, Lil Kick is very tasty. I just wish the sandwich bun itself different, a more durable kind. It fell apart pretty bad before I got halfway through but other than that it was great and I’ll definitely be back. Bathrooms smell and look clean and so does the front!

New to the area and was looking for a great Bar-B-Que restaurant, I read many reviews and decided to head to Hungry Brother’s for a take out meal. We enjoyed the mouth watering smoked brisket and pulled pork platter. The meats are tender and full flavored, excellent sauces to accompany and accent the smoky deliciousness. I really enjoyed just stepping in to the restaurant to pickup my to go orders because the smoky aroma fills your nostrils making your mouth water with anticipation of the great things to come.

This place definitely sets a higher standard. The food is incredible, briskets are finger licking worthy, has great atmosphere, cozy yet offers a touch of elegance without a “stuffy feel” and great wine selection. With a big family, it’s hard to find a place where you can go with your whole family, eat on a budget and get good atmosphere. Very affordable.

Awesome EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. We drive 30 minutes each way to eat at this great BBQ spot. The Brisket is unreal. The atmosphere is easy and refreshing. There is so much on the menu to choose from. I suggest trying the wings and all the unique BBQ sauces. They have great wraps as well as BBQ sandwiches. Such an awesome spot. I would give it more stars, but was all I’m allowed. Eat here. You’ll love it!
