Hungry Bear is a little hole in the wall in Kendall where they cook a great sub with fresh ingredients right in front of you for a decent price.

Simple ingredients, simple food, incredible flavors. I did not give a 5/5 on the food bc the chicken was a bit dry, other than that? Everything is great across the board.

Would recommend, would return!

There’s cheesesteaks and then there’s Hungry bear cheesesteaks! Wow.. this was the perfect spot to get one of the best subs in Miami. In case you’re wondering, I had the very popular and highly recommended “Steak Bomb”!! They have an awesome menu with freshly made subs as soon as you order. And they’re not cheap on the meat either! Amazing experience, delicious sub and awesome service! Highly recommended. I will be back for more!

My friend and I went here for lunch and the food was excellent. The ingredients were fresh, the taste was delicious, and the portion hearty. I got the buffalo sub and he got the bomb burger. We were both beyond satisfied when we finished. The blue cheese did not taste like it had any preservatives. I highly recommend this sub place. One of the best in Miami.

Love this place. I stop in for lunch all time and my father has been coming for many years. Highly recommend. Subs come fully loaded and packed. Can’t go wrong with any option just depends your liking. Last time in we purchased steak and cheese and Buffalo chicken subs.

Damn that was good. I got the honey mustard chicken on white with Mayo, green peppers, onions, lettuce, tomato, salt, pepper, oil & vinegar. Excellent bread, speedy service, tasty honey mustard. Absolutely delicious and hot! My friend got a Buffalo chicken Caesar and that was so good too. We sat and ate at a couple tables they have outside under a tree. Really hit the spot. Highly recommended

They put the toppings at the bottom and then the meat on top. It’s better that way. You taste the steak better. One of the best steak and cheese sub I’ve had. Didn’t give five stars, cuz I would have loved some hot and crispy french fries. They don’t have that there. Also the benches outside could use some cleaning.

People hype this place up so much but it is trash! Extremely greasy and unflavored meat. I ordered the steak and onions with cheese and my bread is soaked in grease! I will never go there again, their subs are so expensive, and yet it tastes so bad. Nobody greets you when you come in, the atmosphere is not friendly or welcoming at all.
