My fiance and I were driving by on our last night and decided to pull a u turn and try it. Brisket and pork sandwich were amazing and great southern BBQ.

MAC & Cheese is a try for sure. Small seating and used to be a home. Gets the local home cooking feel. Great place.

Amazing for our last night trying a new place.

GREAT bar b q. I got the brisket and chicken meal. The brisket was tender and flavorful. The chicken was fall off the bone. It’s soft and flavorful. The corn was totally off the chain terrifi. I also had a side of something called Brunswick stew, which was spicy, flavorful and excellent. The brisket sandwich was great according to my friend George. If you’re in this area and hungry, skip all of the corporate junk and eat there!

Didn’t like the seasoning they put on the chicken but it was OK. A little chewy too. Green beans were delicious potato salad was decent. This was through door dash.

It’s just okay. It’s not the best. The brisket wasn’t flavorful, along with the side. This was a first for me to have black pepper in the Cole shaw. And it was a LOT of black pepper, too.
Service at the cashier was slow, but getting the food was fast.

Pretty typical for a bbq place in a tourist town. We were the only ones in there so service was fast. The sides (besides the fries) are small but they tasted good. Price is good compared to what you would get in the busy part of Gatlinburg.

The location itself is nice. It has plenty of Indoor seating. Nice outside area as well.

The pricing was a bit steep for what you get. $6.99 for a kids hotdog. You paid separately for chips and drink. I got the sausage special and it was tasty. The sides are a bit small but consistent on each order. It was $45 for three to eat.

It was very clean and taken care of. Overall would recommend.

Great BBQ in a scenic town. Very much worth the stop. The ribs were good. The green beans were on point. The baked beans were definitely what you’re looking for from a bbq joint. The major winners were the pulled pork and the smoked sausage. I mean worth the trip alone for those two. Succulent and full of flavor. Great snap on the skin. I could clear a plate of that alone. Only complaints we have is the ribs are a little dry and the coleslaw was over peppered. Our next trip out this way will include Hungry Bears BBQ.

Had the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and chili as my two sides. The pulled pork was delicious! The BBQ sauces on the table provided a variety of flavor styles. The baked beans were also delicious! The chili was a little watery, but still good. The “atmosphere” was OK, nothing special but not offensive by any stretch of the imagination. I’ll definitely stop in again.

The restaurant was within walking distance to our lodge. The staff were very friendly, food was phenomenal. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and I had the chicken sandwich. The sides were great. I recommend either sandwich, potato salad and green beans.

I’ll preface this review by saying that I’ve had a ton of barbecue from many different places. So my standards may be higher than most. We were looking for somewhere outside of the Gatlinburg strip to eat. This place looked promising. It appears that they have a lot of regulars because many customers were known by name. We were reasonably well taken care of. It’s not a table service type of place. I got the pork sampler and my wife got the brisket. The ribs were flavorful, but a bit tough/dry. The pulled pork was OK… with sauce. The sausage was actually my favorite thing. Not sure if they make their own, but it was tasty. My wife wasn’t too impressed in the brisket, nor was I (lacking flavor). It was also odd that they pull it instead of slice it. The sides were uninspired cafeteria fare. The baked beans were the best thing I tasted. The place itself was nice and casual and I have to admit that the prices are pretty reasonable so they get a bonus star for that.
