“Welcome to Hungry! Hope you’re hungry!” From the friendly greeting once we walked in the door to the deliciously well-seasoned food, this was a great experience overall. We tried it this week for lunch and were really glad we did. First off, they have some great specials for KSU students, so bring your ID. Secondly, we stopped by on a Wednesday when they have a BOGO jerk chicken offer. You can get the jerk chicken Philly or the pasta. My husband got 2 of the Phillies because, why not? It’s BOGO!! I got the hibachi rice with chicken (added shrimp for $4 more). I know fried rice is usually a “safe” order, but this was really good. I highly recommend. I didn’t get the jerk chicken because I was afraid it would be too spicy. It’s not. Definitely give either of these dishes a try. I think their fountain drink machine was out, but don’t worry… they have Kool-Aid! The good, sweet kind like your little brother makes. Lol! Apparently, I need to come down this part of Barrett Parkway more often, because I didn’t know this place was here. We will absolutely be back. One more note: it was a little chilly inside. The AC was blasting. I had to grab my sweater. So, be prepared.

We went to Hungry AF for a fun food experience, and overall it delivered. Because of how popular they are, they were out of cheeseburgers and pasta sauce during our visit, which knocked out a good portion of the menu—so it helps to go in flexible. Seating is elevated cafeteria style not great for little kids, when busy could hard to find a spot.
The pasta was heavily seasoned, which is fantastic for anyone who loves bold flavors, though it might be a bit much for those with a milder palate. One of our family members who loves heat tried the habanero mango wings and said they leaned more mango than spicy. Great for people wanting that fruity flavor, but maybe not hot enough for true spice chasers.
The fries were great, and both Philly sandwiches were a hit—the steak version came out on top. All the wing seasonings were delicious, and the wings themselves were cooked perfectly.
The flavored drinks are definitely on the sugary side, but the flavors were spot‑on. For dessert, the cookies were good, but the banana pudding was the standout for us.
Despite the limited menu that day, the food was enjoyable, and we’d go back—just with a flexible mindset.

If you like wings, don’t skip the honey garlic lemon pepper. I’ve had them here multiple times and they’re consistently good every visit—great taste, well-seasoned, and sauced just right. The staff also delivers great service—welcoming, attentive, and fast. This is one of my go-to spots.

It takes a lot for me to consistently patronize a restaurant, and yet I keep coming back to Hungry AF. The Kennesaw location is much better than the Smyrna location. We love the customer service. They allow you to view your food before leaving so if you’re picking up, you should never been dissatisfied before you leave. The food is flavorful. I would agree with some of the customers that sometimes the rice for the hibachi can be soft and banana peppers in your rice is an acquired taste. I LOVE their rasta pasta as well, I’ve had it several times. Of course the wings are good. I just haven’t had anything horrible here, fingers crossed I won’t!

Our actual first try was door dash. Food came actually decently warm. Everything was really good for delivery. We decided to try in person. Food was great. Service was great. Seating is family style high tops. On a Saturday lunch they were handling a medium sized crowd well. For fresh cooked flat top food came out quick. The lemonades were tasty. Cheesesteak was plentiful and has good seasoning. Burgers were great too. Definitely making this a regular spot for burgers and wings. Need to try the pasta and other things though.

Very clean, good prices and food selection. The wings and fries were cooked perfectly however, the regular lemon pepper wings were not great. Most were barely seasoned and basically was just fried chicken swimming in a ridiculous amount of oil. My husband got the zone 6 wings and they were perfect. I will give them another try but will try a different flavor or something else.

First time here. Was greeted when I walked in. It wasn’t busy, had some nice menu options. We ordered the Philly steak and fries and the smash burger with fries. We ate inside. Food didn’t take long to come out. Very nice portion sizes, price for food was not to bad, food was very well seasoned, the fries were good but had a bit too much seasoning on it, it was a bit too salty. Other than the salty fries food was good. I would try this place again!

The food was alright. I had the Rasta pasta with the chicken and shrimp and it was definitely season but extra extra spicy. Chicken was a bit salty. My friend had the lemon pepper wings and did not like it. It was way too salty as well. They may need to go a little lighter on the salt seasoning. But overall, service was fast and good. Staff was great but the policy of not being able to return the entree when it’s too salty…is a bit diabolical. My friend didn’t even eat her meal but maybe one wing. May need to rename this place SaltyAF

My first time coming here was Amazing. My boyfriend got the Smash Burger, with Fries and Lemon Pepper Spicy Wings. I got the Lemon Pepper Wings with the Chicken Fried Rice and it was delicious. The glaze on the chicken was so flavorful and the rice isn’t like the plain rice from other restaurants. The wings were very juicy and fresh. 10/10 will definitely be returning. Ohhhh and this facility is easy to locate, and has close parking.

Decided to try them out since I was in the area. The cashier was great and took time to explain the menu on a semi busy Friday night. The prices are above average but I didn’t mind since the photos in the reviews looked good.
After that it was a bottom tier experience, and my wife even joked that she understands now why the place is called “hungry af,” because of how long you’ll being waiting. We expected a wait because it was busy and we didn’t order online. But 45 minutes for a burger, 6pc wing, and a Philly cheesesteak? What a joke. Checking in with the counter did nothing after we started noticing multiple people who ordered well after us getting their food first.
The first encounter with the QC woman, she took 5 minutes and another reminder to even go check on the order. “You’re up next” is what she told us. Every 30 seconds someone is getting their name called out. They were busy but orders were moving, except ours. I check in after 5 more orders go by, asking what happened to us being next? “Sorry the grill is backed up” with a smile. At this point people who had ordered after us had finished their food and were leaving, looking at us with shared confusion as they walked past. Order after order, and our name wasn’t called each time. The same smile and sorry, no estimate, the “you’re next” now at 15 other orders ago. Usually at this point, having worked in food myself, there’s an offer of an extra side or some fries or a coupon to compensate. Only a handful of sorries and the solution we got was that wings and fries are easy, cheesesteaks and burgers “take longer.” We could clearly see people getting cheesesteaks and burgers, they show the orders to people before bagging it.
To top it all off “next time you can place a mobile order,” was the only additional solution offered as we were handed our food for standing there for 45 minutes being led on like our food was coming soon for half of it.
Only reason they got above 1 star was the cashier that originally helped. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend this place, because if something goes wrong with your order or lose the ticket in the back like they probably did with ours, not only will it take too much time to get it addressed, you probably won’t get the truth in regards to it being taken care of. And they certainly aren’t trained to make it right when it’s all said and done. Now I don’t give “af” about just another wing and burger joint
