The food was exceptional. My boyfriend has taken me to this establishment on multiple occasions prior to this review, and each time the food was outstanding. He shared stories about the previous owners and the transition to new ownership, having been a patron since childhood. His sausage omelette was generously portioned with large pieces. During my previous visit, I had a grilled ham and cheese, which was expertly prepared. Love the luncheonette vibe. Notably, the new owners now accept credit, so it is no longer a cash-only business. Also you can order anything on the menu at anytime.

Every town needs a Hungry A. Super friendly, lively, and great breakfast diner food. Haven’t eaten lunch here, yet! Hope to change that. French toast was as good as promoted, and the egg sandwich on an Italian roll with Taylor ham was perfect. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. Even the regulars will engage you in conversation.

BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION. I dont know if they are rasict but they were charging me different prices from the menu they have. MIND YOU THEY STILL HAVE A BUNCH OF MENUS WITH THE “WRONG PRICING”. On the menu i tried getting the two eggs with a side of meat that clearly states 8.25. The girls at the counter were telling me that thebprice of the meat went up and doesnt reflect the menu. Not only that but they were charging me each item separately which comes out to more. This is not how you do business with you give people the wrong pricing.

ANOTHER UPDATE…was there this morning and I could hear a strange sound!!!! It was music…they have a radio now !! Got a bacon, egg and Cooper on long roll with a side of home fries!! The home fries were good I just like mine a little crunchy!!! I have to say that the meal was ! That wasn’t the only fire though…I sat along the wall and the heater was blowing right on me!!! I think the heat made a hot one start cooking so I left there quick!!!! Oh well, still can’t debate the food at this joint…always very good and reasonably priced!!! Updated…Cash and credit now!!! Just like Dorothy said…there’s no place like Hungry A!!!! Very reasonably priced delicious food, good coffee and great atmosphere! The atmosphere has definitely changed with the new owner! Few times I have been in since the change you could literally hear a pin drop!! Food is very good though, I just get take out sometimes!!! I eat it in my car with the radio on blast…I miss Bruce and Mick!!!!!!!

Good smells coming off the grill. Super friendly staff! They even asked me if my bagel was the right level of toasted for my liking . The taste is levels above the price (great deal). This is just what you want from a local breakfast and shop.

No frills breakfast joint. People are friendly, it’s semi self service. We got ham and cheese omelette plate, French toast and a English muffin sandwich with ham and scramble eggs. The portions were huge, simple and yummy. There was generous amount of ham in both the omelet and the sandwich. The taste is just like it is homemade.The coffee was on the dark side but good. Great place to stop in for a casual breakfast.

stopped in for a quick bite on my lunch break, pretty small place inside, still ample stool seating around the room. very fast and polite service. food was great, i grabbed a BEC on a roll, boyfriend grabbed a BLT with no tomato lol, both delicious. prices are the most reasonable i’ve seen anywhere in a long time. definitely a great little hole in the wall spot in delco. i’ll be coming back pretty often as it’s right down the street from my job.

Different Cheesesteak #892. I loved this place. Great little greasy spoon. They have a menu but I am pretty sure if Angela has it she will cook it for you. It was 9:30 am so I got a cheesesteak with eggs. $7.50. I Would have liked everything mixed and chopped together. But I am not complaining, I‘ll be going back!
