Very disappointed to say the least. This Hunan Wok (there’s 2 in Dania) use to be very good, not so anymore, unfortunately.
It has changed hands several times and apparently it has changed again the food was very much less than expected, they forgot part of the order, ordered one of the dishes spicy and to say the least it was bland. If you’re looking for okay food then this is your place.
But if you’re looking for good Chinese takeout, there’s a WAY better option with the same name less than 3 minutes away on the corner of Sheridan and 5th and it’s a much better option, don’t mistake the two they are physically minutes apart but miles apart in quality.

I would first like to say this is the freshest food I have ever had. Amazing crunchy and fresh shrimp and chicken with broccoli (spicy of course) food is always hot and tasty. Broccoli is amazing and flavorful best Chinese food in all of dania. Too bad they are closed on Tuesday’s I would be here everyday of the week.

I am familiar with the food at Hunan Wok from it’s Hollywood location. The restaurant wasn’t busy so my order was placed and prepared really quickly. The fried rice was cooked to satisfaction, wasn’t greasy or salty.
Chinese food is something I get the taste for once in a while so I may stop here again if I’m in the area.

They tried reheating and serving me the food somebody had turn down for dome reason. Good thing I was watching and caught them in the act. Told them that was shameful practice and I got “fresh” food. Not nice to do that in the face of the customer

I ordered steamed vegatables with shrimp and chicken with white rice and they only gave me vegatables and brown rice no meat. I was over charged and said if I wanted the order remade I had to drive over and get it since I was “out of their area”. I live ten minutes away owner asked what I wanted her to do I said I’d never come back and the food actually sucked.

Very poor driver service. I didn’t get my food. Peter is lazy and full of it. He does not make sure you get your order. Nor does he care to get tipped. If your driver name is Peter from here, do not leave him a tip. He has Very poor customer service and poor since of direction.

My absolute favorite Chinese in fort Lauderdale, so underrated! I’ve ordered delivery probably a dozen times and they never disappoint. They also always make my food extra spicy when I ask which I really appreciate!
