Hunan wok in fairlawn is a great place to eat. Ive been going there about 15 years now and still enjoy the food very much. I would say their prices are a bit high but the food isn’t greasy like some chinese restaurants! I definitely recommend it to anyone in the area who is looking for some good cantonese style food. The owners are friendly and will always welcome you back.

This is a great Chinese take out in a dying strip mall. The kind proprietor maintains very fair prices and pumps out freshly prepared food with the flavors many of us in the area were accustomed to from Chinese-American take out. These days many Chinese-American restaurants have hopped onto the bandwagon of dishes that are chock full of sugar and oversauced. Parking is convenient since many of the businesses in the area are closed.

The BEST tasting take-out joint. And if you’re looking for extra spicy/hot food, they know how to hit the spot. Being a vegetarian, I always order Vegetable Lo Mein with Fried Tofu and Vegetable Fried Rice with Fried Tofu. I ask to make it extra spicy and it’s so delicious!!

Will not recommend. First time order from this place based on Google review and no good experience. I order sesame tofu and mention I don’t like very crispy and he gave me soft. When I call the store person who work there was in so hurry and just said sorry but this is the way medium soft comes and you don’t know as you order first time here.

Wonton soup was great, especially the flavorful broth. Eggrolls were small and slightly overcooked, also tasty. Chicken and broccoli left much to be desired. The broccoli was way overcooked and slightly mushy. The chicken, what did they do to it – poach it in water? It was lackluster, very chewy. The portion didn’t fill the container up all the way. The meal was OK. The place has potential but needs to up its game. I gave one star for ambience b/c this is a take out joint. Ambience is not a consideration.

One of the worse meals I have ever had. Their “garlic sauce” was not even close. Did not like the extra thick noodles for the Lo Mein and the sauce for the Fried Dumplings tasted like pure Dark Soy Sauce. It was very disappointing. I fail to understand the other positive reviews. I gave them one star, because they answered the phone.
