I was looking for months for a good chinese spot here in Jersey and I think I just found it.
I ordered the shrimp with cashenits lunch especial which included a soup and fried rice. The portions are huge for what they’re priced. I wasn’t expecting to eat this much for $12 bucks!
There was also a section of oil free sauces and steamed food that I’d like to taste one day, I can bring my mother that doesn’t like oily food for lunch one of this days 🙂
The staff was friendly and the place was very clean.
I will come with my family here often because the quality of the food is unmatched!

My family has been going to this place since 1986, and we always order their bean sprouts roll in peanut sauce. They’re not on the menu but really should be. It has remained as delicious as they were since 1986.
Yes, the place hasn’t really changed that much at all.
The staff has always remained very friendly with very familiar faces. Shoutout to Mike who assisted us during dinner last night. He is very personable.
They even gave us a plate of noodles, compliments of the house. Delicious with that wok, smokey taste.
We ordered Chilean sea bass with scallops, house special fried rice and the aforementioned bean sprouts spring roll. Excellent taste with just the right amount of seasoning.

Walked in and ordered lunch special. Vegetable lo mein, white rice, hot and sour soup, egg roll. Short wait. My food was hot, delicious and a good size portion. Came with sauces a special bag of crunchies for my soup and a fortune cookie. Very happy with my delightful food.

The lady in the front cashier with short black hair and glasses is the most disrespectful worker there. I picked up my lunch and asked for a hot sauce. She yelled at me and she got aggressive because I didn’t say that in the phone and it took her less than 1 seconds to give me the hot sauce. She had a bunch stacked in the to go section in front of her. I asked her what is the big deal? And she yelled that she wants the kitchen people to do that and that I must ask for a fork. Shouldn’t utensils always be packed in to gos? She lost a customer.

I’m mainly reviewing for a specific dish which I look for, their mapo tofu, because I enjoy it specifically.
From photos, I hoped it would be more flavorful but it was more on the bland side: not really a strong sense of the mala spicyness, nor the flavor of the bean sauce.
Their rice was also unfortunately clumpy and somewhat harder, see photos attached.

Came in for lunch at 1:30. I ordered from the lunch special menu which has very fair prices. Food was mediocre but when it came to paying I was disappointed in the service. My friend and I got our checks and paid. Our server waited at our table for like 5 minutes, and was asking us for a tip. We gave him $3 and he said “that’s it” (our bill was only $18). We gave him one more dollar and he was still waiting at the table. Didn’t appreciate him being unprofessional like this, I personally work at a 4-star restaurant and couldn’t imagine what my boss would say to me if I was begging for a tip.
