Got the lunch special it didn’t come with egg roll. I paid extra for shrimp fried rice but I was given plain fried rice. The food is decent. Portion size as okay. I dislike paying extra for things I don’t receive.

My wife and I were waiting for our order via door dash for 40 minutes past the waiting period, and the dasher was at the location waiting as well for that amount of time, only to have the “restaurant” cancel the order on us. Not only did this horrible establishment make the dasher wait significantly longer than needed, but made him lose wages as well. No to mention us waiting for nothing for almost 2 hours. 0/5 if I could rate that low

I have been ordering at Hunan Royal for well over 10 years. My Favorite Chinese Store. Delicious Food, Fast and Friendly Service. I only wish that they accepted Credit/Debit Cards and had Delivery Service. Nonetheless Highly Recommended Establishment.

Just ordered and wow was I surprised! This is the best Chinese food I’ve had in a while. Everything was incredibly fresh and it was a good price! We got the sesame, general tso’s, and sweet and sour chicken and all were so good! Their meat was good quality too, not just little pieces of chicken! The dumplings and egg rolls were great too! My partner also said they were kind during pick up which is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

I used to live in the apartment complex that was basically adjacent to this place. This was THE spot for Chinese food. Fast service, delicious food, and very reasonable prices. I honestly seriously miss them.

The workers dont know the meaning of well done or crispy ? I ask for a spoon they gave me a fork. This is my first and last time I buy from here. And I love Chinese food they have lost a great customer.I wasted my money at this business.

I have try a couple of restaurants in Newark the food was not great. I order the beef and broccoli combination from this place it was delicious and fresh. This place is where I am going to order my food from for now on. It would be nice if they deliver.

Great prices and great service. I order from this place and I have moved 3 xs further from here and I still manage to only eat their food if I have the taste for Chinese cuisine. Does not take credit or debit card. So you would think there would be a ATM in the store, again no. Does not store there , don’t know where one is iso YOU have to look for it!!!

I went there today & brought a small chicken and broccoli and chicken wings w/shrimp fried rice. Everything was good but $7.25 for shrimp fried rice that had only 4 shrimps in it. C’mon now! Highly disappointed. Lotus in West Orange hooks it up.
