Had a great lunch at this small and cozy restaurant. Their lunch specials are a great bargain. Each one comes with a pot of hot tea, soup, rice (steamed or fried), spring roll and your entree.
I had the Gung Pao 3 Flavors. It has chicken, shrimp and pork. I could never decide which one I wanted, so this combination is a great option. The sauce is incredible! Rich, tangy with just the right level of kick.
My wife had the Lemon Chicken. The portion size was huge. Large pieces of chicken with just the right level of lemon. I’m not usually a fan of this flavor but I was grabbing a few bites of this along the way. It was terrific.
We both had the hot and sour soup. I love their recipe on this soup. It has a great kick and the rich broth.
Prices were $14.99 and $15.99! Great deal for all you get. We brought home enough for another meal. Love this little place.

Pito made our trip wonderful. My friends and I felt like family. Not only was the service top notch, the food was excellent as well. I recommend making this a must stop when in Flagstaff.

Fired rice is not fresh.
Pre cooked.. sitting in rice cooker.
Sesame kitchen is factoy made, like you can get in super market.
You can do better..Good luck.

Our waiter was very informative and helpful in choosing our meals, our food came out fast, everything tasted good, and the portions were generous. Nice authentic food. The complex might look a bit sketchy from the outside but the interior was cozy and there were many customers. I recommend the MaPo bean curd. Will be coming back next time I’m in Flagstaff

Egg flower soup was bright orange in color and had a old pork odor. We were told it was a fresh batch. The steamed wontons were mushy. When researching about egg flower or egg drop soup it says that very orange egg flower soup indicates too much food coloring. We also found a tiny stone in our fried rice. Wonton chips were more like tortilla chips. The pros to this place is their hot tea and ice tea. If you’re looking for a good Chinese hot tea this is the place to come to. Otherwise find another place to eat. The chicken lo mein was okay. It appeared to be a popular spot for the locals but our experience was not good at all. We wanted to like this place but it was not a good experience.

Food has improved! Tastes like they have a new cook… fried rice is so yummy! (And I’m not a fan of fried rice…) lemon chicken tastes better, love fresh white meat chicken vs the frozen they used before…. tea had great flavor. The waitress was an idiot (misunderstood when asking for to go containers, she butted in with my date when she saw me taste his rice, asking if I wanted to order my own). Didn’t prevent the food coming out fast and great!

The quality of the food is not what it used to be. The Jasmine tea was watered down. I ordered a dish with beef. The beef was tough and thick. As always the customer service is great! Just the quality of the food has gone down.

Food was absolutely delicious and flavorful. They served us complementary tea once we got here. I got the Hot Garlic Broccoli (which I couldn’t help getting into before taking a pic here) and my friend got pork lo mein. Both meals came with a side of fried rice and they put it into a cute dish for us to share. We both really enjoyed our meals. The waiter was very welcoming and made sure everything came out well. He offered us other condiments in case we needed it, and once we asked for boxes he gave us options for what would work best for us. Everything is very well priced and there is good sized portions. We will definitely be back here. Great experience overall.

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience for me. The sesame chicken did not look very appetizing and I didn’t end up trying it. The fried rice tasted more like plain steamed rice with an overwhelming amount of MSG. Sadly, I don’t think I would return.

We ordered way too much on purpose… Left overs the next day!! GREAT FOOD AND VALUE plus our server was Pito and he was as pleasant and accommodating as you could ask for. We ordered the Kung pao chicken and I have found if the kung pao is good it usually means they know what they are doing!! We also ordered the lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken and chop suey. We will return for dinner and leftovers again.
