There were 4 of us, and we decided on the “Menu D,” which included Hot and Sour soup, pot stickers, spring rolls, 2 kinds of shrimp, orange chicken, broccoli beef, and noodles. Every dish was delicious, but the Hot and Sour Soup, the orange chicken, and the Walnut Shrimp were above and beyond our expectations. In spite of our hearty appetites, we left with a bag of leftovers. Next time I go there, I’m going to get walnut shrimp! The staff were delightful, with efficient service and friendly good humor. The setting was not elegant, but rather classic 1950’s. As an additional bonus, the restroom was wonderfully clean. We will definitely return.

During our visit to someone in the area, we chose to enjoy Chinese food and ended up at this restaurant. The dining space was a little small, but I must say the food was quite delicious.

We love this restaurant. The owners are just wonderful. The food is great. This is our family’s favorite Chinese restaurant. We’ve been coming here for over 20 years.

Tried this location during lunch in Friday. Got the classic lunch special for takeout . Pros: great price($12), great location, generous proportions, quick service. Con: my opinion is that if a Chinese restaurant can’t make a great lunch special then it’s not a great 5 star location. The meat was ok. But the pros balance it out, specially with other items in the menu that I haven’t tasted yet. So a 4 star for now is fair. But I’ll definitely give them another try. Update on my second time here. The broccoli beef was kind of chewy so I would’ve recommended beef but chicken was delicious.
Third update . Had the kungpow
chicken was way too citrusy. I tested more like orange than the normal sauce. I do not recommend that particular plate but still fantastic price.

Consistently good food quality with nice portion sizes overall. However, the honey walnut shrimp portion was disappointing — only about 8–10 shrimp, which felt skimpy compared to the rest of the menu.

Love this place. Food is excellent and the staff are always friendly even when they are really busy. If you are in the mood for Chinese food this is my go to.

Large portions, decent price, friendly service. Didn’t love the taste of my Gen Tsau chicken. I know fish sauce is authentic, but I don’t care for it. Also not a fan of water chestnuts in Gen Tsau.

Great friendly service. Affordable prices. Just need more flavor. Otherwise, everything was good during our take outs.

Best barbecue pork chow fun. Dry it without gravy. Best price in town for high quality and quantity!

Best Chinese restaurant in Contra Costa County. delicious food and excellent service. Can’t complain about anything. I’ve been going here a long time and I’m never disappointed. It’s family owned, there is never a wait, and the owners are very nice.
