Got takeout. The fried rice was great, Hunan chicken was good, and they included a free spring roll and chili sauce which was nice! Will definitely order from here again.

we were travelling north and didn’t want to get fast food and decided some hot wonton soup would be perfect, and so we stopped in Grants Pass and went to Hunan Gardens. The wonton soup was delicious, with fresh vegetables, not too salty. The wontons were well made, and tasted great. highly recommend the food here.

We went to eat there and they had a very young kid waitering. They messed our food up twice and then when we finally got our sushi we ordered it was very cold on the inside where we eventually just said we needed to go box which we will never eat. Never asked if we wanted a refill. Never cleaned the platter off my table. I am so disappointed with this restaurant we have had such amazing experiences here but after this one we may never go back. So bad.

Was very very disappointed. The food quality is not good. Wife and I had to take our food to go. She ordered the chicken skewers and I ordered a meal. Wife spit out the chicken and was gagging. My chicken combo was not good either. The fried rice looked too off and the shape of the rice was not looking like your normal rice; the chicken was not that great in taste either. We recently moved to Oregon from the East Coast and I can tell you 100% their Chinese food is more authentic than here. But this restaurant was the icing of the cake it was very horrible.

We had a great experience here. Service was quick and friendly, and the general Tso chicken and spring rolls were delicious.

I drove around for more than an hour with Google maps. I had to call them to find out where they are located. They had these teeny, tiny signs that you could not see. And by the time I got my food, it was stone cold. I’m going to LensCrafters tomorrow.

Tonight was my first time at Hunan Gardens. Not very impressed with the server. He was not happy that we had a special order adding mushroom (only had white button), baby corn (tasted old) and bamboo. All of these where an added $ charge so please don’t tell me that “when chef not so busy she’ll make special order..” and said multiple times..what…. 2 soups both where colder. Flavor was perfect on the soup but temperature needs to be hotter. Please tell me you don’t microwave it.. or did it sit there because server was so slow. Which there was 1 table when we arrived that was already served. The edamame was nice with an Asian BBQ sauce. Which made it very messy.
Need a new server or well need Togo if I order here again.

This food is delicious. If you want something fresh they will be sure you get just that. The service is little slow, they tend to do one table order at a time and usually doesn’t take the next tables order until the first table is completed. The restraint is older and has dividers somewhat covering up what looks to be construction material of some kind behind the restraunt. But if you want something tasty be sure you are patient and it will be worth the wait!

I ordered kum-pao shrimp with cream cheese wontons take out. The portions are ridiculously small for the price of the food. The white rice comes in the smallest container I’ve ever seen. It looks like a rice portion for ants?! Seriously though if youre going to do small portions fine. But dont charge $26 for an entree and app. The shrimp was small and over cooked. The sauce was generic and vegetables were overcooked. It tasted like it was heated from frozen. The cream cheese wontons were ok but fried in old oil. Bleck. Now im hoping I don’t get sick, I wish I would have seen the reviews before ordering. Ill stick to the Thai food in town.
